Sony confirmed PlayStation Days of Play 2025, running May 28 through June 11, with regional discounts on PS5 consoles, accessories, games and PlayStation Plus. The French announcement specified up to €100 off PS5 Digital and Standard editions and €50 off PS5 Pro; the English announcement listed selected console prices from €399.99 in Europe. These were temporary 2025 offers, not current prices: the sale has ended.
When Days of Play 2025 ran
Sony’s event began May 28, 2025, at 12:01 a.m. and ended June 11 at 11:59 p.m., using local time in each region. Sony executive Isabelle Tomatis confirmed the return of the promotion in the official announcement: “It’s official – Days of Play is back for 2025!” Sony’s English announcement
Those dates are historical. The 2025 discounts should not be read as an offer still available in 2026.
What the PS5 deal leak reported—and what Sony confirmed
Notebookcheck’s May 24 report, updated May 26, attributed expected European prices to leaker billbil-kun. It listed €449.99 for the disc-drive PS5 Slim, €399.99 for PS5 Slim Digital and €749.99 for PS5 Pro, alongside up to 30% off PlayStation Plus subscriptions. The report cautioned that its source had European pricing rather than confirmed global terms. Notebookcheck’s leak report

How the PlayStation Plus discount worked
The maximum percentage differed between Sony’s regional announcements. The English announcement offered eligible players up to 33% off selected 12-month memberships; the French announcement said up to 30% off selected 12-month plans. The percentages should be kept tied to their respective regional pages, not combined into a single global rate.

Days of Play 2025 is over, and Sony’s announcements do not establish current console prices or stock. For a present-day purchase, compare the exact edition and region: Digital Edition versus Standard (with a disc drive), PS5 Slim versus PS5 Pro, and the price and availability at the retailer you intend to use. Do not treat a 2025 promotional figure as a live listing.
