You can find the Platboom Echo in either the Stilled Desert Temple Ruins Rift during “A Rift in the Gerudo Desert” or a cave behind Gerudo Town. If you have already completed the rift, the cave is the alternate source.

Find Platboom in the Stilled Desert Temple Ruins Rift
While the “A Rift in the Gerudo Desert” quest area is still open, look through the caves inside the Stilled Desert Temple Ruins Rift. The guides report multiple Platbooms in the rift. Siliconera says this source is missable after completing the area because the rift disappears; if that has happened, use the Gerudo Town cave instead.

Use Beds or other platforming Echoes to climb the cliff. Siliconera suggests Trampolines for an early visit and Water Blocks as a later option.

What the Platboom Echo does
Platboom rises and falls like a moving platform that Zelda can ride, and it can crush enemies when it drops. Nintendo Life reports that summoning it costs three energy, reduced to two when Tri reaches level 8. Siliconera also describes using it to reach high platforms, including as a way to access Faron Wetlands.
