No: Persona 4 Golden is not a new Xbox Game Pass addition in October 2026. Xbox added it on August 20, 2025, and announced that it would leave the library on May 31, 2026. In Xbox’s October 7, 2026 update, Gears of War: E-Day is listed as available now for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
What is on Game Pass in October 2026?
Xbox’s October 7 announcement lists Gears of War: E-Day as available now for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. It is a different game from the original Gears of War: Xbox describes E-Day as an origin story set 14 years before that first game. The October announcement is a dated update, not a guarantee of future catalog availability. Xbox’s October Game Pass announcement provides the current list.
When was Persona 4 Golden on Game Pass?
Xbox announced that Persona 4 Golden would arrive on August 20, 2025, for Cloud, Console, and PC. At launch, Xbox listed Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard as supported tiers. The August 2025 announcement gives the original availability details.
When did Persona 4 Golden leave the service?
Xbox’s May 19, 2026 Game Pass update named Persona 4 Golden among the games leaving on May 31, 2026, across Cloud, Console, and PC. The announcement said members could buy departing games to keep playing after they left the subscription library. That purchase option is separate from continued access through Game Pass. See Xbox’s May 2026 update for the departure notice.

Is Persona 4 Revival the same game?
No. Persona 4 Revival is a separate upcoming remake of Persona 4 Golden, not the older game returning to the October 2026 catalog. Xbox’s June 7, 2026 showcase recap gives Revival a February 18, 2027 release date and says it will be included with Game Pass. Xbox’s Persona franchise page describes it as a full remake and says it will be playable day one with Game Pass. Those statements concern the remake’s planned release, not current access to Persona 4 Golden.
