The Tides of Terraria island guide names seven destinations, from the collaboration dungeon southwest of Fisherman’s Point to shipwrecks and resource-rich islands around Palworld’s map. Directions below use landmarks and nearby fast-travel points; the guide does not provide a complete set of coordinates.
All seven Tides of Terraria island locations at a glance
| Island | Where to look | Nearest fast-travel access named by the guide | What the guide reports |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sealed Realm of Terraria | Southwest of Fisherman’s Point, at the southernmost tip of the volcanic island | Fisherman’s Point | Terraria dungeon and materials for Terraria-themed equipment |
| Sunlit Isle | East of the Plateau of Beginnings and south of Marsh Island | Plateau of Beginnings or Marsh Island | Multiple Oil Nodes |
| Oasis Isle | East of the desert area in the map’s northwestern corner | PIDF Tower Entrance | Numerous Oil Nodes |
| Frostbitten Isle | South of Castaway Beach, in the Sea Breeze Archipelago | Sea Breeze Archipelago | New Pals, Pure Quartz mining locations, and a large Frostallion statue |
| Isle of the Glacial Core | In the northernmost area, between the cold and desert biomes | Pal Genetic Research Unit Tower Entrance | A level 60 Neptilus and other high-level Pals, according to the guide |
| Phantom Isle | A shipwreck northwest of the volcanic island where Jetragon is found | Ruined Fortress City | Caves and relatively high-level, often hostile, Pals |
| Isle of Decayed Treasure | A shipwreck southeast of Eastern Wind Island | Eastern Wind Island | Pals at lower levels than most of the other new Pals, according to the guide |
These seven proper names and relative positions come from Insider Gaming’s Tides of Terraria map guide. Pocketpair’s v0.6.0 announcement describes three new island types—Tropical Islands, Iceberg Island, and Shipwreck Island—but does not name all seven destinations in the guide.
Where to find each island
Sealed Realm of Terraria
Travel to Fisherman’s Point, then head southwest toward the southernmost tip of the volcanic island. The guide places the new Terraria dungeon there and recommends a flying or swimming Pal for the approach. It says the dungeon provides materials for Terraria-themed equipment.
Sunlit Isle
Look east of the Plateau of Beginnings and south of Marsh Island. Both landmarks have fast-travel statues, making either a practical starting point. The guide reports multiple Oil Nodes on Sunlit Isle and suggests it as a possible oil-farming outpost location.

Oasis Isle
Head east from the desert in the northwestern corner of the map. PIDF Tower Entrance is the guide’s nearest fast-travel point; it recommends taking a flying Pal. The island is also reported to have numerous Oil Nodes.
Frostbitten Isle
Search south of Castaway Beach in the Sea Breeze Archipelago. The guide identifies the archipelago as the nearest fast-travel access. It reports new Pals, Pure Quartz mining locations, and a large Frostallion statue that can help identify the island.

Isle of the Glacial Core
Look in the northernmost part of the map, between the cold and desert biomes. The guide names Pal Genetic Research Unit Tower Entrance as the nearest fast-travel point. It reports a level 60 Neptilus and other high-level Pals, so expect a more demanding visit; the level detail is from the guide, not Pocketpair’s update announcement.
Phantom Isle
Find the shipwreck northwest of the volcanic island where Jetragon is found. Ruined Fortress City is the guide’s nearest waypoint. It reports caves and relatively high-level Pals that are often hostile, so this is not described as a low-risk exploration stop.
Rank #3
Isle of Decayed Treasure
Travel southeast from Eastern Wind Island’s fast-travel statue to reach the shipwreck. The guide recommends a flying or swimming Pal. It describes the island’s Pals as lower-level than most of the other new Pals, making it a useful destination for filling Palpedia entries.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. How the island names relate to the official update
The guide’s seven named destinations and Pocketpair’s island-type categories are different kinds of information: the guide provides proper names and relative locations, while the official v0.6.0 announcement groups new content into Tropical Islands, Iceberg Island, and Shipwreck Island. The available sources do not establish a direct one-to-one mapping between every named island and those three categories.
Do not confuse this Tides of Terraria list with the separate v1.0 changelog. That later update describes seven small islands across volcano, desert, and ruins biomes, as well as watchtowers that reveal nearby map areas and function as fast-travel points. It is a separate addition, not confirmation of the seven destinations named in the Tides of Terraria guide.
Quick Recap
Navigation notes before setting out
- Use the named landmarks and nearby fast-travel points as directional references; the guide does not supply exact coordinates for every destination.
- Bring a flying or swimming Pal where the guide recommends it, especially for the Sealed Realm of Terraria, Oasis Isle, and Isle of Decayed Treasure.
- Plan for stronger opposition at Isle of the Glacial Core and Phantom Isle based on the guide’s descriptions of high-level or hostile Pals.
- For directions after a map-changing patch, check current in-game map labels and fast-travel names, since the cited location guide is not a coordinate-based map.
