To start Peaks of Prestige: Rekindled Duel in Wuthering Waves, reach Union Level 14, activate the Startorch Academy Resonance Nexus during the main quest “What Burns Beneath Frostlands,” then visit Startorch Academy and look for Anita. Progress through the event’s duels and Division Challenges; leave Co-Op before trying to advance event progress.

Where to start Rekindled Duel

Peaks of Prestige: Rekindled Duel is an in-game Echo Combat Event in the Lahai-Roi area, not a separate physical card game. Kuro Games identifies it as an Echo Combat Event in the Version 3.0 patch notes; the event rules give the unlock requirements.

  1. Reach Union Level 14.
  2. Progress through “What Burns Beneath Frostlands.” Activate the Startorch Academy Resonance Nexus during this main quest.
  3. Go to Startorch Academy. A location guide identifies Anita as the NPC to approach to enter or begin the event. The official rules establish the academy as the access location, but do not give Anita’s precise coordinates or building location.

If the event is not available, check that you have activated the Nexus and advanced the quest far enough. The event rules also state that progression is unavailable in Co-Op, so exit Co-Op and check the in-game event page or map if the interface differs from the guide.

How event progression and completion work

The official rules describe a progression loop: build custom Peaks of Prestige decks, duel opponents, earn Lahai-Roi Rank Points, and raise your Rank Level to unlock cards and Tactics. Division Challenges are another part of progression and include the exclusive Phantom: Chop Chop reward.

A secondary walkthrough reports 18 assigned duelists and treats defeating them as completion of the event’s opening story. The official rules reviewed do not enumerate that total, so use the in-game event tracker as the authoritative checklist for your current progress rather than relying on a fixed opponent count.

The reviewed rules do not provide a complete rank-by-rank reward table or exact Rank Point thresholds. Check the current client’s event page for the reward and milestone details that apply to your account.

What returning players should know about the Lahai-Roi edition

The Lahai-Roi event is not mechanically identical to the older Septimont edition. A community guide describes Lahai-Roi-specific Domains and Novelties, the addition of Quick Deploy, and changes to energy generation through Reconstruction. It cautions that Septimont decks and strategies do not necessarily transfer cleanly.

Edition What the guide says Deck implications
Septimont The older edition; the specific mechanics are not detailed in the cited comparison. Do not assume a Septimont deck or strategy will work unchanged in Lahai-Roi.
Lahai-Roi Includes Domains and Novelties, Quick Deploy, and changed Reconstruction energy generation. Review the active rules and opponent’s Domain before settling on a strategy.

How to choose a deck for the duels

There is no official best-deck requirement in the event rules. The community walkthrough recommends using its supplied or Blade Reforged setup for early duels, then moving to a Bamboo Sovereign deck for later opponents. These are player recommendations, not verified universal rankings or mandatory builds.

  • Read the in-duel information panel to understand the active rules.
  • Check the opponent’s Domain, since it can change which mechanics are available.
  • Prefer a plan that can build its board reliably without depending on a mechanic the opponent restricts.
  • After the first six opponents, the community guide says the remaining challengers can be faced in a more flexible order.

For eligibility and the Co-Op restriction, consult the event rules. The Lahai-Roi community walkthrough discusses edition differences and deck ideas, while Nerd’s Chalk’s location guide identifies Anita and reports the opening duelist count.
