PlayStation stopped selling Concord on September 3, 2024, and took the game offline beginning September 6. What happened to Concord?
On September 3, 2024, Firewalk Studios game director Ryan Ellis announced on PlayStation.Blog that sales would cease immediately and the game would go offline beginning September 6. PlayStation Support identifies that offline date as September 6, 2024, Pacific Standard Time.

That ended a short period of availability: PlayStation had announced August 23, 2024 as the global launch date in its June 6 launch announcement.
How to get a Concord refund
PlayStation said it would offer a full refund to everyone who purchased the game for PS5 or PC. The process depended on the purchase channel:

For current support details, PlayStation’s Hong Kong regional support page continues to state that sales have ceased and full refunds are being offered to PS5 and PC purchasers. Its regional scope matters: readers elsewhere should check the support guidance for their own region.
Can you keep playing after a refund?
No. PlayStation stated: “Once refunded, players will no longer have access to the game.” The refund restores the purchase price, not ongoing access.

Why did PlayStation stop selling Concord?
PlayStation’s explanation was qualitative, not numerical. Ellis wrote: “we also recognize that other aspects of the game and our initial launch didn’t land the way we’d intended.” The official PlayStation pages cited here do not provide a launch-sales total, revenue figure, or player-count statistic, so “anemic launch” should not be treated as an official quantified finding.

Before release, PlayStation described Concord as a multiplayer-focused game with a physical and digital Standard Edition on PS5 and a digital PC edition. Its pre-release announcement listed 16 playable Freegunners, 12 maps, and six team-based modes planned for launch, with PC pre-purchases available through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Those were announced launch specifications, not evidence of the game’s later live state.
