There is no verified, still-active PlayStation discount code established for April 2026. The advertised “up to 75% off” was a regional Spring Promotions sale in Portugal—not a universal coupon or a discount that applied to every game. Sony’s Spring Sale ended April 22, 2026; check your own regional PlayStation Store for offers currently available to your account.
Was there a PlayStation discount code for April 2026?
The evidence supports a PlayStation Store sale, not a verified universal discount code. Sony’s official Spring Sale ran from March 25 through April 22, 2026, with additional titles added on April 8. The US-facing PlayStation Blog noted that game selection and timing could vary by region and that some titles had different sale periods. Sony’s Spring Sale announcement and update are historical; they do not establish an offer that can still be redeemed.

The headline “75% off” refers to Sony Interactive Entertainment Portugal’s April 9 announcement of discounts on more than 5,000 PS5 and PS4 titles, available through April 22. It was a maximum discount in that regional promotion, not a guarantee that every eligible game—or every country’s Store—had that price. The Portugal announcement gives the market-specific details.
Why did some reports say up to 80% off?
Regional sale announcements did not all give the same maximum. PlayStation Blog Japan reported up to 80% off selected PS5 and PS4 titles during its Spring Sale phase from April 8 to 22. That figure applies to the Japanese announcement and should not be combined with Portugal’s 75% figure as though either were a worldwide offer. Read the Japanese PlayStation Blog announcement.

How PlayStation discount codes differ from voucher codes
Sony distinguishes a 10-digit discount code from a 12-digit voucher code. A discount code reduces the price of eligible items in a PlayStation Store cart; a voucher can provide content, a subscription, or wallet funds, depending on the voucher. A PlayStation Store gift card adds funds to the wallet. It is not itself a coupon and does not lower a game’s listed price. Sony’s code redemption support page explains the types and restrictions.
Redeem a discount code
- Add eligible items to your PlayStation Store cart.
- Choose “Enter Discount Code,” enter the 10-digit code, and follow the checkout instructions.
- Before paying, check the code’s expiry, eligible products, and account region, and confirm the discount appears in the total.
Sony says discount codes cannot be used for subscriptions or pre-orders, combined with another discount code in the same purchase, or spread across more than one purchase.

Check voucher region before redeeming
Voucher codes are region-specific: the voucher’s region must match the PlayStation account. Check compatibility before buying or attempting to redeem one.

Open the PlayStation Store for your account’s region and review the prices and offers shown there. The April promotion is over, and the available evidence does not establish a current October 2026 sale or working code for any particular country. Do not treat a code from a coupon site or social post as official unless the regional Store accepts it and displays the discount before checkout.
