PlayStation’s Hyperpop Collection pairs three RGB-inspired DualSense wireless controller designs with matching PS5 console covers: Techno Red, Remix Green, and Rhythm Blue. Sony announced preorders for January 16, 2026, and a launch starting March 12, 2026; actual availability and retailer prices vary by region.
What’s in PlayStation’s Hyperpop Collection?
Sony Interactive Entertainment announced the collection on January 7, 2026. Each of its three colorways is offered as a DualSense wireless controller design, with a matching PS5 console cover also announced:
- Techno Red
- Remix Green
- Rhythm Blue
PlayStation describes the look as glossy black transitioning into vivid neon colors, inspired by the glow of RGB lights in gaming setups. The announcement credits the design to Leo Cardoso and Sae Kobayashi of PlayStation’s Color, Material, and Finish team.
How do the controllers and covers look?
Cardoso described the palette as a bold take on the glow of gaming-set-up RGB lights. Kobayashi said the DualSense has a seamless gradient wrapping around its front and back, finished with a high-gloss coat. The matching covers have a subtle hint of transparency, according to the announcement.
