Amazon’s September 2026 Prime Gaming update pairs cloud-streamed additions to Luna with PC games that Prime members can claim through different storefronts and codes. The announcement calls the PC lineup “nine” games, but its dated list names 11; the full list below follows those itemized offers. Dates and availability reflect Amazon’s September announcement and may vary by country or claim window.
What’s included in Amazon’s September 2026 update?
The update covers two different kinds of rewards: games added to Amazon Luna for cloud streaming, and PC games Prime members can claim through an external storefront or code. They work differently: the Luna additions are part of the service catalog, while PC offers are claims tied to the channel listed for each title.
New games on Luna Standard
Amazon Game Studios said Star Wars: Outlaws and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora were newly available on Luna Standard. Amazon described the fall additions as joining more than 80 games on Luna Standard at the time of the announcement; that is Amazon’s September 2026 catalog figure, not a permanent count.
GameNight additions
The announcement also highlighted four GameNight titles, but it did not present them all as available on the same date. Amazon marked King of Tokyo and It’s Quiz Time: Guinness World Records “Now Available,” while Bowling Mayhem and Cranium Planet were “Coming Soon.” It described King of Tokyo as a social game for up to six players and Cranium Planet as playable by up to eight. It’s Quiz Time: Guinness World Records can be played locally or online using a phone and TV.

Which PC games can Prime members claim, and when?
Amazon’s detailed September schedule lists 11 PC game offers, with a claim date and delivery channel for each:
| Claim date | Game | Listed delivery channel |
|---|---|---|
| September 3 | War Hospital | Epic Games Store |
| September 3 | Just Die Already | Epic Games Store |
| September 10 | Drop Duchy | Epic Games Store |

| September 24 | The Da Vinci Cryptex | Legacy Games code |
| September 24 | High on Life | Epic Games Store |
The announcement’s opening description says “nine PC games,” while its itemized schedule names 11. This is an internal mismatch in Amazon’s September update; the table reflects the complete dated list rather than silently omitting two titles.

How do you claim the September PC games?
Use Amazon’s Prime Gaming claim page for an offer while it is available, then follow the instructions for its listed channel. The listed delivery method matters: some offers provide a storefront claim, while others provide a code. Amazon’s general claim guide notes that some PC offers require linking a game or launcher account, and some require the Amazon Games app to install.
- Sign in with the Amazon account that has an active Prime membership and open the September game offer.
- Select the claim option and follow the offer’s instructions for its listed storefront or code.
- If prompted, link the required game or launcher account, then redeem the code or claim the game in the specified service.
- Install the game through the channel associated with the offer. For Amazon Games App offers, use that app.
Amazon’s announcement does not give a country-by-country availability matrix or guarantee that every offer remains claimable after its listed date. Check the local offer page for eligibility and whether a claim window is still open.

How does Luna Remote Play work?
Amazon introduced Remote Play as a way for a Prime or Luna Premium account holder to invite up to seven other players to join a supported shared session from elsewhere. Invitees do not need Prime, but Amazon says they need an Amazon account and a supported device. Amazon’s September update says more than 60 Luna games support shared sessions; both figures are Amazon’s stated limits and counts, not independent measurements.
Amazon says to start from “Remote Play” in the Luna navigation. Its announcement describes the feature as requiring no downloads or extra cost, but access still depends on an eligible host account, supported game and device, and invitees’ Amazon accounts.

Do you need a controller to play Luna GameNight?
No. For GameNight, Amazon’s service guide says a compatible TV and a phone are used together: the phone acts as the controller, and players can scan a QR code to join. Other Luna games may use a controller or mouse and keyboard. Amazon lists the Luna Controller, compatible Bluetooth controllers, and mouse and keyboard as supported options, so a Luna Controller is optional—not a GameNight requirement.
