Check this week’s bonuses before choosing an activity
Rockstar says weekly bonuses can give selected jobs and activities 2X or 3X GTA$ and RP. Those boosts rotate, so a method that is attractive one week may not be boosted the next. Rockstar’s GTA Online Starter Tips describes the bonus system; it does not establish which activity is boosted now. Check the live GTA Online page or the event panel in-game before committing time to a grind.

Try The Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid as a starting activity
Rockstar describes The Cluckin’ Bell Farm Raid as available across platforms. Its 2024 launch announcement recorded an additional GTA$100,000 Weekly Challenge reward for successfully completing the raid during its featured launch week. That was a time-limited event bonus, not the raid’s ordinary payout, and it should not be assumed to be available now. The cited official sources do not establish the raid’s current base reward. Plan for Cayo Perico’s unlock requirement
If you want to start The Cayo Perico Heist, Rockstar’s starter guide says to meet Miguel Madrazo at The Music Locker and purchase a Kosatka. Those are prerequisites to begin the heist; they do not prove it is the quickest way to earn money, and the available official information here does not provide a current comparable rate.

How to judge which method is quickest for you
Compare activities using the same practical questions rather than relying on an undated “best money method” ranking:
- Upfront investment and unlocks: account for any required in-game purchase or prerequisite, such as the Kosatka for starting Cayo Perico.
- Group or solo fit: choose an activity that suits whether you are playing alone or with others.
- Total time: include setup and waiting time, not just the mission itself.
- Current payout conditions: distinguish an ordinary reward from a temporary weekly multiplier or challenge bonus.
- Repeatability: consider whether you can and want to run the activity repeatedly.
Because the official sources do not give a consistent, current comparison across these factors, a precise net-per-hour estimate or definitive October 8, 2026 ranking would be unsupported.
