Razorback Armada is a limited-time Warframe event, not a permanent Star Chart mission. While it is active, claim the Razorback Cipher blueprint from your Inbox, collect Cryptographic ALU in Corpus Archwing missions, craft and equip the Cipher, then launch the event mission from the Star Chart’s Events section. In the fight, hack Bursas to expose the Razorback temporarily and attack during that vulnerability window.
How to check whether Razorback Armada is active
The Razorbacks return periodically, so an old event announcement does not confirm that the event is live now. Check your in-game Inbox for the Cipher blueprint and the Events section at the top-right of the Star Chart for the mission entry and current instructions.
How to get Cryptographic ALU
During the event, run Corpus Archwing missions to collect Cryptographic ALU. Digital Extremes’ official event instructions name Salacia on Neptune as an example. A Shacknews guide also describes Corpus Railjack missions as an event-period route, but the official instructions specifically point players to Corpus Archwing missions; check the current in-game event guidance rather than assuming every route is available or equally productive.
How to craft and equip the Razorback Cipher
- Claim the blueprint. Retrieve the Razorback Cipher blueprint from your Inbox while the event is active.
- Build the Cipher. Use Cryptographic ALU and the other resources shown in the current Foundry recipe. The recipe can be checked in game; do not rely on an old ingredient list if it differs from the live blueprint.
- Equip it. Add the crafted Cipher to your Gear Wheel before launching. Digital Extremes’ event instructions recommend crafting three Ciphers for the event run plan.
- Launch the event mission. Open the Star Chart, select the Events section, and choose the Razorback mission while it is available.
How to damage the Razorback
The key mechanic is the Bursa. Hack Bursa units during the encounter to make the Razorback temporarily vulnerable; then focus your damage on the boss during that opening. It is not an always-vulnerable target, so coordinate attacks around the exposure window rather than spending your damage outside it.

Razorback Armada rewards
In its March 5, 2024 announcement, Digital Extremes said that destroying three Razorbacks earns 200,000 Credits and one free Orokin Catalyst. Treat this as the milestone reward stated in that dated announcement, not a guarantee for every future return; check the live event messaging for the current reward conditions.
The community-maintained Warframe Wiki lists Gorgon Wraith components and mods among boss drops, but advises checking official drop tables. Because exact current rates are not established here, consult the official drop tables in game or on Warframe’s site rather than relying on percentages from an undated community listing.
