To repair and launch the Javelin in Revenge of the Savage Planet, complete the Roundtrip 2.0 quest: lift the crashed ship in Nu Florida, clean it with the right tools, scan three wrecks and gather the required materials, then print five Javelin upgrades. The quest spans several planets, and some cleanup and collection steps may have to wait for later campaign upgrades.
Start Roundtrip 2.0 at the crashed Javelin
Head to the swamp in Nu Florida, south of the hub, and inspect the crashed Javelin. This begins the repair arc and establishes where you will return after unlocking the equipment needed to move the ship. The quest is optional to the main campaign, but its launch is tied to ending content.
Get the Magnetic Fork and raise the ship
The Javelin is stuck in the swamp. You need the Magnetic Fork to lift it, and getting that tool is part of the Xephyr quest May the Fork Be With You. Follow that quest’s progression to obtain the Goo Ingestor, acquire the Magnetic Fork, and defeat Wormzilla. Then return to Nu Florida and use the fork to raise the Javelin.
Clean the Javelin with three different tools
Ship cleanup is not a single-tool job. Each obstruction calls for a different ability, so clear what you can and revisit the ship when you have the necessary upgrade.

- Amber sacs: Destroy them with Blight Bombs. The Blight Bomb upgrade requires later campaign progress on Quasadron IX, so you may need to leave this cleanup task until then.
Scan the three wrecks and gather the quest collectibles
Roundtrip 2.0 asks you to scan wreckage at three locations. These are planetary objectives separate from cleaning the Javelin, and the routes can depend on terrain and unlocked traversal abilities.
- Crystal Pillars, Xephyr: Scan the wreck there.
- Summit of Ruin, Zenithian Rift: Scan the wreck there.
- Savannah Lake, Quasadron IX: Scan the wreck there.
Use the quest tracker or a map for the exact turns to each wreck; the routes are terrain-specific. Along the broader objective chain, collect five Cryo Pods, five Data Pods, and three Trash Cubes. Some collectible routes require traversal upgrades such as the Underwater Scooter, so do not assume every marker is reachable as soon as it appears.

Print all five Javelin upgrades
Once the required scans and materials are in hand, use the 3D Printer to complete all five Javelin upgrades. The upgrade costs and specific item requirements are listed in the walkthroughs from GameSpot and Patch Crazy. Check the Roundtrip 2.0 tracker before heading to launch; it shows which objective remains.

Launch only after the printer has completed all five Javelin upgrades and the quest objective is ready. Launching awards the Hasta La Vista achievement and is associated with two endings. GameSpot notes that Tweed’s Revenge is required for one ending branch, so complete that quest before committing to the Javelin finale if you want that option available.
