If Rogue Company shows an “invalid response” error, the exact cause has not been confirmed by the accessible official information. First check that you are signing in with the platform account you intend to use and, if you have linked accounts, that the correct one is set as your primary account. If you still cannot sign in, use Hi-Rez’s official support portal and check its server-status link.
Was the Rogue Company login error officially acknowledged?
The claim that Hi-Rez acknowledged this specific error in 2021 is not verified by the accessible official material. A November 2021 secondary report is associated with that claim, but the report could not be accessed, and the official pages reviewed do not discuss the “invalid response” message. It would be misleading to present the acknowledgement or a particular cause as confirmed.
Similar-looking messages may occur at different points in sign-in. Note the exact wording and whether it appears during Hi-Rez account sign-in, while your platform authenticates, or after the game launches; the available information does not establish that those cases share one cause.
How do I check my primary Rogue Company account?
Hi-Rez’s account-linking guidance, dated June 24, 2024, says players can use progress across platforms by linking external accounts. In its official linking flow, choose the platform account that holds the progress you want to use as primary, authenticate through that platform, then connect the other accounts.

- STRIKE FROM THE SHADOWS: Take down enemy patrols and sentries with the vast array of tools at your disposal, from rifles, explosives and grenades to vehicles, traps and your trusty fighting knife.

- Supports solo or cooperative play.
If two linked accounts have separate progress, Hi-Rez says the primary account’s progress is used. The other account’s progress is held; Hi-Rez says it can be restored by switching which account is primary. Check the selected platform identity before changing account links or primary-account settings.
What to try if Rogue Company won’t let you log in
- Identify where sign-in fails. Record the exact error text, the platform you use, and whether the message appears during platform authentication, Hi-Rez sign-in, or after launching the game.
- Check the intended platform identity. Open Hi-Rez’s official Rogue Company account-linking flow and make sure you authenticate with the platform account you mean to use. If accounts are linked, confirm the intended account is primary before making changes.
- Check for a service incident or contact support. Hi-Rez’s account portal links to support, ticket creation, and server status. If you cannot reach account settings, use the support or ticket route from the portal and include the error text and where it appears. The official Rogue Company support collection lists articles about linking or unlinking external accounts and changing names.
- Try reversible local checks if account and service checks do not help. Restart the game and launcher, or try a different network or browser session to isolate whether the issue is local to the current session or connection. These are general troubleshooting checks, not verified fixes for this particular error. Do not assume that clearing cookies or changing DNS will resolve it.
Is Rogue Company login down, or is the error a ban?
The official account portal provides a server-status link, which is the appropriate place to check for a current incident. The information available here does not establish that there is an outage now. It also does not connect this exact error wording to a ban or establish whether it signals an account, service, device, or network problem.
