In Star Trek Fleet Command (STFC), a Dominion Solo Armada is an encounter one Commander starts and fights alone using three of their ships. To take one on, find a Dominion Solo Armada target in a listed system, bring a fleet suited to its level, and spend a Dominion Solo Armada Directive to start the encounter.
How Dominion Solo Armadas work
Scopely introduced Dominion Space advisories as Solo Armadas. Unlike the usual Alliance Armada, where another Alliance member can start an encounter for others to join, a Solo Armada is taken on by one Commander with that player’s own ships. Scopely’s Update 47 announcement specifies three ships for the format.

- Hyra
- Evarin
- Yerra
- Reddan
- Vefeeq
- Dal Vor

How to get Dominion Solo Armada Directives
Directives are the consumable items required to start these encounters. Scopely’s Armada Directives help article lists event milestone rewards, Dominion-specific stores, and limited-time offers as possible sources. Availability can change, so check current event milestones and the Dominion store in-game rather than assuming a directive is always stocked in one place.
How to prepare your three-ship fleet
Scopely’s announcement sets the fleet size at three ships but does not specify ship classes, a minimum power level, or a fixed officer crew. Choose a target your account can reasonably handle and build the fleet around both damage and survival; the community reference does not establish a universal winning setup.

Officers to consider
The community reference identifies officers with abilities relevant to Solo Armadas, including Julian Bashir for critical chance and critical damage, and Jadzia Dax for Solo Armada weapon damage and piercing-related bonuses. It also lists general Armada officers such as Benjamin Sisko, Miles O’Brien, and Six of Eleven.
Compare the abilities actually available at your officers’ current tiers. Give particular weight to abilities that explicitly apply to Solo Armadas; a general hostile or Armada bonus is not automatically a Dominion-specific bonus. When comparing feasible crews, weigh damage potential against survivability and the officer tiers required to unlock the relevant effects.

What is and is not established about rewards and power
The directive help article confirms directive sources, but it does not establish a current reward table by Dominion target tier or a minimum ship-power threshold. Check the in-game target and event reward previews for current details. Scopely’s G6 Solo Armadas FAQ covers a separate Armada type; its rewards and details should not be assumed to apply to Dominion Solo Armadas.
