In Monster Hunter Now, Thunder is its listed weakness and breaking its wings can create a stagger opportunity. A separate Monster Hunter Wilds database lists additional attacks and different elemental ratings, so those details should not be treated as series-wide rules.
What is Seregios?
Seregios is a large Flying Wyvern. The official Monster Hunter Now entry describes it as territorial, swift in the air and on foot, and capable of launching blade-like scales that cause bleeding. Those bladescales are its defining threat: they can turn a brief opening or a careless approach into a status effect.

Seregios weakness in Monster Hunter Now
The official Monster Hunter Now Seregios entry lists no element for the monster and lists Thunder as its weakness. These are Now-specific details and may change with game updates.
Breakable parts and openings
Monster Hunter Now lists the head, both wings, both hindlegs, and the tail as breakable parts; the tail requires severing. Its guidance emphasizes attacking breakable parts, with wing breaks offering a chance to stagger Seregios. Treat that stagger as an opening to continue attacking rather than as a permanent interruption.

Dodging its attacks
- Aerial kicks: Dodge sideways to get clear of the fast attack.
- Bladescales on the ground: Avoid stepping on them; contact can cause bleeding in Monster Hunter Now.
- Bleeding: The game’s warning is to avoid scale contact. The entry does not establish a universal remedy or a single tactic for every weapon and encounter, so follow the status guidance available in your current game version.
Bladescales and attacks in Monster Hunter Wilds
A third-party Monster Hunter Wilds database entry lists scale scatter that causes bleeding, angled aerial dives that may come in a series of three, a tail slam that causes bleeding, a sliding charge, and an enraged pin attack. These are Wilds-specific database details, not universal Seregios behavior across the series.
Wilds-specific elemental ratings and tactics
The database marks Thunder as Seregios’s strongest elemental weakness, Water and Ice as one-star weaknesses, and Fire and Dragon as ineffective. It recommends backing away when the scales bristle, rolling perpendicular to an aerial dive, and rolling sideways to evade the sliding charge. It also says breaking the head and tail can reduce how many scales Seregios deploys.
Because these ratings and recommendations come from a third-party database rather than an official Capcom guide, use them as game-reference information and check the database or your current game for changes.

Seregios weapons and armor
Seregios materials can be used to make equipment, but the available items differ by game. The official Monster Hunter Now entry lists Regios armor and multiple forgeable weapons. The Wilds database lists Seregios weapons and α and β armor variants.
The cited entries establish that these equipment options exist; they do not provide enough comparable detail to recommend one game’s gear, weapon type, skill set, or upgrade path as a best build. For a meaningful comparison, first identify the game and update, then compare the specific weapon type, skills or properties, rarity or upgrade stage, and required materials. Basic weapon terms such as attack, element, sharpness, slots, and affinity vary in relevance by title; a Monster Hunter Generations manual explains those general concepts for that game, but it does not establish Seregios equipment stats in Now or Wilds.
