The Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 let builders choose between versions of the iconic tree from two Zelda games; the film set recreated parts of Halloween Town. The prices and release dates below are historical details from the 2024 roundup, not current shopping information.
Two headline builds, two very different worlds
| Set | What it builds | Character figures | 2024 launch details |
|---|---|---|---|
| LEGO The Legend of Zelda Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 | An alternate version of the Great Deku Tree associated with Ocarina of Time or Breath of the Wild, where the tree guards the Master Sword. Only one configuration can be built at a time. | Zelda and Link figures representing the two games. | The August 30, 2024 roundup listed an original US price of $300. It did not specify a release date for this set. |
| LEGO Ideas The Nightmare Before Christmas | A display build recreating notable Halloween Town locations in the stylized look of Henry Selick’s animated film. | Multiple minifigures, including Sandy Claws. | The roundup listed public release on September 6, 2024, with LEGO Insiders early access from September 3, and an original US price of $200. |
What the Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 offers
The set’s defining choice is which game-inspired version of the tree to build: the Ocarina of Time interpretation or the Breath of the Wild version. “2-in-1” means alternate builds, not two complete trees displayed together; the configurations are built one at a time. The accompanying figures connect the model to both games, with Zelda and versions of Link represented.
In the 2024 roundup, the $300 figure was the set’s original US price. It should not be read as a current price or evidence that the set is still available.
What comes with the Nightmare Before Christmas set
Rather than focusing on a single character or prop, the LEGO Ideas set recreates locations from Halloween Town. It is based on the animated film and includes several minifigures, among them Sandy Claws. The roundup gave September 6, 2024 as the public release date and September 3 as the start of LEGO Insiders early access.

- [Legend Reappearance]: Based on the intimidating "Lynel" in "TOTK", it faithfully restores its burly body, heavy armor and cold gaze. The details of the exploding mane and the giant axe in his hand are full, and the muscle lines are full of power. After assembly, it is like a mini beast on the desktop, and the sense of oppression is overwhelming. It makes Link daunted:)
- [Challenge hands-on ability]: Contains 207 parts. The assembly process is both challenging and interesting. It is suitable for adult players to exercise concentration and spatial thinking. After completion, you will feel a sense of accomplishment. It can also be used as a birthday gift, Christmas/New Year gift box for BOTW fans, and assembly model enthusiasts
- [Build your legend]: Assemble (TOTK) Link; Hylia Angel, Bokoblin Match the legendary Lynel to form your fantasy army! From rebuilding the ruins of the sky island to exploring the underground maze, laying out the wilderness battlefield; hiding the korok easter egg treasure, let the desktop become a miniature Hyrule, rekindle the desire to conquer powerful enemies and solve the mystery Lock the passion of hidden epics!
- [4.7-inch collection-level craftsmanship]: The finished product size is precisely controlled at 4.7 inches (height) × 2 inches (length and width). It uses high-density environmentally friendly ABS material. The armor bites tightly and the edges are smooth and burr-free. It can be displayed alone to show the oppressive feeling of Centaur Lynel, or it can be freely combined with other character models to restore the epic battlefield of the Hyrule continent
- [Full assembly escort]: If you find that parts are missing, the paper manual is not clearly marked, or you have questions about the drawings/steps during the assembly process, please feel free to contact me: We will give priority to reissuing the missing parts (due to logistics reasons, reissuance will take a long time), and provide high-definition electronic manuals and real-time assembly guidance to help you enjoy the Hyrule adventure!
