The SCUF Envision Pro V2 With Hall Effect is best suited to Windows PC players who will use its many extra inputs and are willing to configure them through Corsair iCUE. Its paddles, G-keys, side buttons and dual-mode triggers offer more ways to customize play than a standard controller, but that flexibility comes with a software learning curve. TechRadar’s reviewer also reported occasional wireless disconnections from iCUE during testing, so this is not an automatic recommendation for every PC gamer.
What makes the SCUF Envision Pro V2 different?
The Envision Pro V2 combines a familiar symmetrical thumbstick layout with an unusually large set of additional controls. SCUF lists four rear paddles, two side action buttons, five programmable G-keys and dual-mode triggers. The thumbsticks use Hall Effect sensors, while the face buttons use Omron mechanical switches. The controller connects by USB-C or wirelessly.
That hardware is most useful if you want to move frequent actions off the face buttons, build game-specific mappings or switch between different control layouts. The additional controls are less compelling if you mainly want a straightforward gamepad and do not expect to spend time setting up profiles.
How does it feel to use?
TechRadar’s reviewer described the controller as comfortable and premium-feeling, with responsive buttons and triggers. The reviewer also said the rear paddles’ lower placement took some adjustment and that the side action buttons were easy to press accidentally. Those are observations from TechRadar’s testing, not a guarantee of how the layout will feel for every hand size or grip.

- Anti-drift Hall effect thumbsticks prolong the life of your controller
- Four rear, remappable paddles keep your thumbs on the sticks for faster reactions
- Five fully remappable G-Keys for advanced macros and Corsair iCUE integration
- Two unique side-mounted SAX buttons are designed to provide additional configurability and fit the natural placement of your fingers
- OMRON mechanical button switches operate like a mouse click for instant activations
TechRadar says it used the controller for over a month with Marvel Rivals, Fortnite and Battlefield 6, testing wired and wireless play, button mapping and profile switching. Its findings are useful context, but they remain one reviewer’s experience.
How much setup does iCUE require?
The extra controls make configuration part of the product experience. TechRadar found Corsair iCUE difficult to learn and reported that the extended features, including G-keys, required iCUE to run in the background. The reviewer also encountered occasional wireless disconnections between the controller and iCUE during testing.

- ENDURANCE HALL EFFECT THUMBSTICKS: Magnetic anti-drift sensing keeps aim accurate over years of use, with two extra swappable thumbstick sets included so you can dial in height and shape.
- OMRON MECHANICAL SWITCHES: Face buttons and D-pad register with fast, tactile mouse-click feedback for quicker, more precise inputs than standard controllers.
- 4 REAR PADDLES + 5 PROGRAMMABLE G-KEYS: Remap jump, slide, reload and more using iCUE software or on-board hardware profiles, giving you 11 extra customizable inputs.
- ADJUSTABLE DUAL-MODE TRIGGERS AND SIDE ACTION BUTTONS: Tune trigger travel from instant to full pull, and add two removable side buttons for even more in-game control.
- WIRELESS SLIPSTREAM CONNECTIVITY WITH USB-C CHARGING: Enjoy a stable, low-latency connection up to 45 feet on PC (Windows 10/11); this Renewed controller is professionally inspected and tested to work and look like new.
That does not establish that every owner will encounter the same problems, but it does make software comfort a real buying consideration. If you enjoy tuning mappings and maintaining profiles, the setup burden may be acceptable. If you want customization to be quick and largely self-contained, the Envision Pro’s feature count may be more work than value.

Does it work on Xbox, PlayStation, Mac or iPhone?
No. SCUF says the Envision Pro is for Windows PC and is not compatible with Mac or iOS; its FAQ also excludes Xbox and PlayStation. If you need one controller for a console as well as a PC, this model does not meet that requirement.

How long does the battery last?
SCUF Support estimates around 19 hours with normal use. That is the manufacturer’s estimate, not an independently measured runtime, and actual battery life can vary with use. USB-C provides a wired connection when you do not want to rely on wireless play.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Is the SCUF Envision Pro worth the price?
SCUF’s US product page listed an original price of $169.99 when accessed on October 8, 2026, and displayed a lower price at that time. The discount and current price can change, so check the listing for the price in your region before buying. The value question is less about the number of features than whether you will use them: the many extra inputs can justify a specialized controller for a player who maps actions and switches profiles, but they are harder to justify if you want a simple plug-and-play gamepad.

How does it compare with alternatives?
TechRadar names the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 as alternatives, describing them as more accessible in software and profile use and noting their broader compatibility. The Envision Pro stands out in the comparison for its larger number of additional controls. A like-for-like choice depends on the exact model and region: the available evidence does not establish current local prices, battery estimates, weights or sensor specifications for both alternatives, so those figures should be checked against each manufacturer’s current listing rather than inferred.
Use these decision points when choosing:
- Choose the Envision Pro V2 if you want its four paddles, two side buttons, five G-keys and Hall Effect sticks, and you are comfortable configuring it with iCUE.
- Consider an alternative if wider platform support or a simpler profile workflow matters more than having as many extra controls.
- Check the exact variant before comparing prices or specifications; model revisions and regional listings can differ.
