There are two Savage Beastfly encounters in Hollow Knight: Silksong: the first is in the Chapel of the Beast in Hunter’s March and rewards the Beast Crest; the later Grand Hunt fight is in Far Fields and lists a Horn Fragment as its boss reward. The separate Savage Beastfly Wish, accepted at Bellhart’s Wishwall, rewards a Mask Shard. In both fights, let the Beastfly’s charge hit a wall, then punish it while it recovers.
Where to find the Savage Beastfly
First encounter: Chapel of the Beast
Find the first Savage Beastfly in the Chapel of the Beast in Hunter’s March. Defeating it awards the Beast Crest. This encounter also satisfies the Savage Beastfly defeat requirement for the later Grand Hunt Wish.
Later encounter: Far Fields
The second Savage Beastfly is the target of a Grand Hunt Wish and appears in Far Fields, in the arena where you fought Fourth Chorus.
How to unlock the Far Fields Grand Hunt
Pick up the Savage Beastfly Wish from Bellhart’s Wishwall. Its listed requirements are:

How to beat the Savage Beastfly
Use the charge to create an opening
Play defensively and avoid chasing the Beastfly around the arena. When it charges, position yourself so it runs into a wall. Attack during the recovery after the impact, then back off and prepare for its next move.
Respect the ground-pound and summoned enemies
Avoid the ground-pound rather than trying to trade damage. When summoned enemies are active, be cautious about pursuing the boss: splitting attention can leave you exposed to both the Beastfly and the adds.

PC Gamer’s guide says the Beastfly’s attacks deal two masks of damage and summoned minions deal one. If you cannot avoid both and must choose which hit to take, that guide recommends taking a minion hit as the lower-damage option. Treat that as a situational fallback, not a reason to ignore the adds or a guaranteed safe tactic.
