There are 60 Rainbow Conchs in Sea of Stars. Find them in chests and by completing side objectives, then trade them with Mirna in Docarri Village for milestone rewards. This area-by-area checklist covers the full set, including pickups that require abilities, puzzles, NPC tasks, or a later return.

Once you have 27 conches, claim Mirna’s Falcon-Eyed Parrot relic. Its area callouts can point you toward regions with collectibles left to find, making it the best tool for narrowing down a missing conch.

How to use this Rainbow Conch checklist

Work through the areas below and mark each conch as you collect it. A conch is not always in a blue chest: some are rewards for helping an NPC or completing a side objective. If a route is blocked, note the area and return when you have the required ability or the story has opened access.

  • Use the Parrot to narrow the search: At 27 conches, Mirna gives you the Falcon-Eyed Parrot relic. Check its callouts for areas that still have something to find, then use the corresponding checklist sections.
  • Check tasks as well as chests: Speak to the relevant NPC after completing an objective; some rewards are not picked up from a chest.
  • Revisit gated areas: The Mistral Bracelet, Graplou, Cobalt Hammer, and story events open routes or rewards that may not be available on your first visit.

The list is organized by region and named sub-area, rather than claiming that each entry must be collected in a particular order.

  • For another pickup, break through the floor from above.

Port Town of Brisk

  • Check the chest on the west side, the underwater hidden market, the beach children, and the hidden room.
  • Complete the 40-filet NPC task and win the five-win chest minigame for their rewards.
  • After Brisk is rebuilt, complete the painter’s side quest. Some Brisk rewards depend on story access; the conches remain obtainable after the relevant event.

Abandoned Wizard’s Lab

  • Search the water area for a submerged chest and complete the crystal-room puzzles.
  • After finishing the sequence, inspect the final reward: one guide notes that its chest may not have the usual blue appearance.

Settler’s Island and Mirth

Ancient Crypt

  • Inspect the entrance room and the left pillar.

Half-Sunken Temple and Tower

  • Include the Half-Sunken Tower when finishing the late-game locations.

Mirth

  • Check the roof and the area behind the central building.
  • For the fishing-spot pickup, Mirth needs its Fishing Hut plan, and the fisherman must be recruited from Mooncradle.

Still missing a conch?

  1. Check the Falcon-Eyed Parrot for the island or area it identifies as incomplete.
  2. Use the matching area section above to check both chests and side objectives.
  3. Look for a gated route or story-dependent reward. If you lack the Mistral Bracelet, Graplou, or Cobalt Hammer—or Brisk has not yet reached the relevant story state—mark the pickup and return later.
  4. For a complete location-by-location walkthrough, compare your checklist with the full 60-location guide. The official support page also points players to a community wiki for missing conches.

The official Sea of Stars support FAQ confirms the total and Mirna’s role, but does not provide a full walkthrough. The area directions above are based on guides published in 2023, so check your game’s version if a route or pickup appears different.
