In Season of Discovery, you earn Emerald Wardens reputation by completing Nightmare Incursion quests from Field Captains near the portals in Ashenvale, Duskwood, Feralas, and the Hinterlands. The main reasons to build reputation are the standing-gated level-50 PvP gear and other rewards; Phase 4 removed reputation requirements from class runes, Catnip, and Wolfshead Trophy. The quest and reward details below reflect Wowhead’s guide, last updated July 24, 2024, rather than newly confirmed official patch notes.
How to earn Emerald Wardens reputation
Find a Field Captain near a Nightmare Incursion portal and take the starter quest to access Incursion assignments. Quests can ask you to defeat enemies, collect materials, or defeat a boss. Wowhead recommends groups of three to five for many missions, so grouping can make the objectives more manageable.
The four Incursion zones are Ashenvale, Duskwood, Feralas, and the Hinterlands. Wowhead describes the portals as active at all times, so you can choose a zone rather than wait for a rotation. Its guide lists these level tunings:

Quest availability and reputation amounts
Wowhead’s guide says Incursion quests became daily quests in Phase 4, with each quest available once per day. It lists approximate reputation of 75 per quest in Ashenvale and Duskwood, and 100 per quest in Feralas and the Hinterlands. At the latter two zones, the daily “Fight the Nightmare Incursions” quest is listed as awarding 1,000 reputation.
Those values are guide figures updated in 2024; actual progress depends on which quests you complete and whether they are available to your character. The guide also lists level 53 as the maximum for Feralas and Hinterlands Incursions. After level 53, it describes repeatable gathering quests for Moonstones, Moon Dragon Scales, and Moonroots as reputation options.

Where to find the quartermasters
Emerald Wardens quartermasters stand at the portal areas alongside the Field Captains. Wowhead names them Falinar, Kyleen, Alandra, and Valdane, and says all four share the same inventory. Visit whichever portal area is most convenient; there is no need to travel to a particular quartermaster for a unique item.
Which rewards still require reputation?
The value of farming depends on your class, current standing, and the reward you want. Wowhead’s guide lists class and armor-type variations, so check the item for your character rather than assuming every class uses the same gear.

Class runes, Catnip, and Wolfshead Trophy
The guide lists a faction rune for each class, but says Phase 4 removed reputation requirements for Emerald Wardens class runes. It also says Catnip and Wolfshead Trophy no longer require reputation. If one of those is your only goal, raising your standing is not necessary for access to it under the Phase 4 changes described by the guide.
Level-50 PvP gear
The guide lists level-50 PvP set pieces at two standings. Gloves, boots, and shoulders are listed at Friendly; helmets, chest pieces, and legs at Honored. The exact class and armor-type item differs, so inspect the class-specific reward before deciding which threshold to pursue.

Other standing-gated rewards
Beyond the PvP pieces, the guide lists rings and trinkets at Friendly and Honored, Druid weapon and chest rewards at Revered, and additional rings and trinkets at Exalted. It also lists Emerald Chips, earned from Feralas and Hinterlands missions, as currency for some Revered and Exalted rewards. Check the vendor item itself for both its standing requirement and any currency cost.

Before doing more Incursions, identify the exact item you want and check its current vendor requirement. Then compare that threshold with your character’s standing and level, and account for the once-per-day availability described for Incursion quests. This avoids farming for an item whose reputation gate was removed in Phase 4, while keeping the standing-gated gear and higher-tier rewards in view.
