What is the next major Skate update?
Season 5 is the latest announced roadmap. EA’s August 25 announcement divides its content between the season’s start and a mid-season release; it identifies update 0.32.5 as the update bringing mid-season content. That is a stated plan, not a guarantee that every item will arrive on an exact date.

EA’s news listing showed patch 0.32.2, dated September 28, as its latest listed update when checked on October 8, 2026. The listing also included 0.32.0, dated September 7. Those publication dates show recent patches, but do not establish a weekly, monthly, or otherwise fixed patch schedule. See EA’s Skate news listing.
Season 5 roadmap: launch and mid-season content
The announced Season 5 window is September 8 to December 1, 2026. The roadmap names the following additions:

These are the items in EA’s Season 5 announcement. The roadmap identifies broad windows, not a separate release date for every feature.
S.U.M.R. Camp and its story event
S.U.M.R. Camp is a new mega park built around big-air skating. Its six-week “Have You Seen Him?” story event is staged across the season: weeks 1–3 began in update 0.32.0, while weeks 4–6 were planned for update 0.32.5. EA says the event is available during Season 5 and will not remain after the season.

Time-limited area access
Some Season 5 areas have access windows or pass requirements, so the roadmap’s content timing does not necessarily mean every player can enter every area at any time. EA’s Season 5 article describes these terms:
- S.U.M.R. Camp: Premium Pass holders had early access from September 8 through October 6. From October 6 through December 1, the article describes a 24-hour day pass for 500 Rip Chips.
- The Stadium: Available for the season through Premium Pass or a 24-hour pass for 250 Rip Chips.
- Isle of Grom: Scheduled for general access from September 8 to October 13, then closed for an event-preparation week. It was scheduled to become open access October 20 to November 3, and return to general access through December 1.
These are time-limited, game-specific terms; check the current in-game access details, since availability or requirements may change.

How reliable are Skate roadmap dates?
Full Circle explained its roadmap approach in February 2026: it intended to share updates more often, distinguish active development from ideas still being considered, and release content during a season as well as at its start. The studio describes “in development” items as active work intended for release, while warning that they may take longer than planned or be cut. “On the radar” means ideas being explored without a set timeline; farther-out items are more likely to change or be shelved. Read the Full Circle Team’s roadmap update for those definitions.
That distinction matters: a season window or named mid-season update is more concrete than an idea on the radar, but neither should be read as a promise that every planned feature will ship unchanged. Full Circle put it plainly: “In Early Access, change is the name of the game.”

Is there a Season 6 or later update date?
No post-Season 5 major-update calendar is established by the official roadmap pages covered here. There is no confirmed Season 6 start date or schedule to report. Treat any specific date for a later season as unconfirmed unless EA or Full Circle announces it.
What earlier roadmaps show
Season 3 offers historical context, not a current upcoming schedule. Full Circle’s February 20, 2026 roadmap post listed additions including an expanded Isle of Grom, darkslides and dark catches, updated bonelesses, Speedlines, tattoos, cosmetic loadouts, more replay-editor controls, and store changes. A February 19 developer update said Early Access gives the team room to “listen, learn, tweak and test,” and noted that Grom would return expanded in Season 3. These past plans help explain the seasonal approach, but do not predict when future features will arrive. See the Season 3 roadmap and February developer update.
