When is the next skate. update?
EA’s official skate. Steam announcement feed says the mid-season blog drops October 8, patch notes for update 0.32.5 drop October 12, and the update is scheduled for October 13, 2026. These are announced dates, not confirmation that the update deployed on schedule. Read the Steam announcement feed. As of October 8, EA’s news index showed the September 28 version 0.32.2 patch notes as its latest listed update entry. Check EA’s skate. news index.

No. EA’s game page already describes skate. as an Early Access game. The October 13 date is for a game update, not the start of Early Access. EA’s skate. game page.
What did EA announce for update 0.32.5?
EA’s August 25 Season 5 announcement identified two items for the mid-season update: a new Hedgemont street park called Parry Point Park, and weeks 4–6 of the Slappy story event. EA also announced a major October mid-season event spanning multiple locations, including Isle of Grom. The October 8 blog is the place to check for the definitive update scope; the August announcement describes plans, not confirmation that every item will arrive unchanged on October 13. What else is part of Season 5?
Season 5 features include S.U.M.R. Camp, 16 Underflip variations, improved Footplants, updated progression, Player Spot Battles, Block Parties, and new brand partners. These are Season 5 features and context, not a claim that each is new in update 0.32.5. The named partners are Converse, Baker, Deathwish, Online Ceramics, Welcome, and There / Unity; the announcement identifies them as in-game partners, not as an external retail offer.
How do S.U.M.R. Camp and Isle of Grom access work?
S.U.M.R. Camp
EA said skate.Premium Pass holders had early access to S.U.M.R. Camp from September 8 through October 6, 2026. From October 6 through December 1, non-pass holders could buy a 24-hour day pass for 500 Rip Chips. EA says Rip Chips can be earned through Challenges and Bounties.

The Stadium
Unlimited Season 5 Stadium access was a Premium Pass benefit. EA listed a 24-hour Stadium day pass for 250 Rip Chips.
Isle of Grom
EA’s published schedule lists General Access from September 8 through October 13, followed by a one-week closure to prepare for an in-game event. It then lists Open Access from October 20 through November 3, followed by General Access from November 3 through December 1. Those labels and dates reflect the published Season 5 schedule; check EA’s current announcements for any changes.
