The Sacred Tower painting is in a cave northeast of the Scorched Ruins in Gravesite Plain. Its painter appears much later in the DLC, on a cliff south of the Northern Nameless Mausoleum; approaching the spirit rewards you with the Spiraltree Seal.
Where to find The Sacred Tower painting
In Gravesite Plain, look for a small cave northeast of the Scorched Ruins. It is also east of the wandering Furnace Golem. Enter the cave and interact with the painting to register it. The painting depicts Enir-Ilim before the great tower was shrouded in shadow, according to the game database.
How to reach the painter
The painter’s location is separate from the cave where you find the painting, and it only becomes accessible later in the DLC. PC Gamer’s walkthrough says the location does not exist on the map until later progression. A separate acquisition guide identifies the specific gate as using Messmer’s Kindling on the Sealing Tree past Romina, Saint of the Bud.
- From Moorth Ruins in Scadu Altus, head north and enter the cave behind the Marika statue.
- Continue through the poison and Gravebird area until you reach Ancient Ruins Base.
- Travel west along the valley with two golems, keeping to the left. Find the sealed Spiritspring.
- To open it, break the stone pillar behind a low wall farther up the cliff.
- Use the Spiritspring to reach the plateau with the Northern Nameless Mausoleum.
- Go south past the mausoleum, then descend along the cliff edge at its far end. Approach the painter to make the spirit disappear and leave the Spiraltree Seal on the ground.
What the reward does
The Spiraltree Seal is a sacred seal that buffs Spiral incantation spells, according to PC Gamer’s walkthrough. The painter’s arrival and reward are tied to the location depicted by the painting, rather than to returning to the cave where you found it.
