Shovel Knight Live: Steel Thy Concert was announced as a two-city concert celebrating the game series’ 10th anniversary. Yacht Club Games’ official event page listed New York City for February 22, 2025, and Los Angeles for March 30, 2025. Both dates have passed; the announcement does not confirm whether the performances took place or whether a recording is available.
When and where were the Shovel Knight concert shows announced?
| City | Venue | Date listed on the official event page |
|---|---|---|
| New York City | The Town Hall | February 22, 2025 |
| Los Angeles | The Fonda Theatre | March 30, 2025 |
The Los Angeles date changed: the September 3, 2024 announcement trailer initially gave January 19, 2025, while the official event page lists March 30, 2025. The later date is the one to use for the announced schedule. Yacht Club Games’ event announcement and its announcement trailer are the sources for those dates.
What was Steel Thy Concert?
Yacht Club Games billed Shovel Knight Live: Steel Thy Concert as the first official Shovel Knight concert and a celebration of a decade of the series. The planned performance combined a live orchestral and rock ensemble with Shovel Knight gameplay footage on screen. The announcement named Grammy award-winning arranger Charlie Rosen and series composer Jake Kaufman.
Those descriptions come from the game’s publisher and are promotional details, not independent reviews of the performances.

Did the shows happen, and is there a recording?
The available official announcement establishes the planned dates and advertised features, but it does not confirm that either performance ultimately took place, that additional shows were added, or that a concert recording or soundtrack was released. It also does not establish that tickets or merchandise remain available. Since both announced dates are in the past, treat any current availability or post-show release as unconfirmed unless Yacht Club Games announces it directly.
