On your second visit to Ebisugaoka, find the key at Sennensugi Shrine, then use it on the mailbox outside Sakuko’s house. Opening it rewards the Spider Omamori and a Letter from the Hospital, and is tied to the “A Federal Offense” trophy or achievement.
Where to find Sakuko’s mailbox key
- During the second Ebisugaoka visit, continue north toward Sennensugi Shrine.
- At the shrine’s main gate, check the stone shrines on the left. Inspect the key lying beside a Letter from Sakuko’s Mother. The key is easy to miss if you stay focused on the main route.
The location is shown in the Silent Hill Memories walkthrough and the PowerPyx second-visit guide.

How to unlock Sakuko’s mailbox
- From the shrine, backtrack toward the Chizuruya General Store area.
- Continue to Sakuko’s house and use the key on the mailbox outside. You do not need to enter the house.
The mailbox contains the Spider Omamori and a Letter from the Hospital. Guides describe the Omamori as reducing weapon durability consumption from light attacks; they do not provide a measured amount for the effect. Opening the mailbox is associated with the “A Federal Offense” trophy or achievement. The route and rewards are covered by Silent Hill Memories and PowerPyx.
Missed the mailbox on your second visit?
A later Ebisugaoka visit is described in the Silent Hill Memories later-visit walkthrough as a second and final chance in that playthrough. If you already have the key but did not open the mailbox earlier, use that later opportunity to return to Sakuko’s house.
