Konami’s March 13, 2025 SILENT HILL Transmission focused on SILENT HILL f, introducing a new mainline entry set in 1960s Japan. The reveal established its protagonist, Shimizu Hinako, the fog-covered town of Ebisugaoka, the game’s creative leads, and the platforms Konami listed at the time. The September 25 release date was announced later, on June 4—not during the March Transmission.
What did the March 2025 Silent Hill Transmission announce?
Konami billed the March 13 broadcast as a look at SILENT HILL f. Its accompanying announcement introduced the game as a new story in the series, with a Japanese setting distinct from the familiar American towns of earlier entries. Konami’s March 13 announcement and the official Transmission listing establish the event’s focus; they do not provide a transcript-level inventory of every segment, so this recap sticks to the announcements those sources confirm.
Where and when is SILENT HILL f set?
The game takes place in 1960s Japan, in the remote mountain town of Ebisugaoka. Its protagonist, teenager Shimizu Hinako, lives in a familiar place that changes after thick fog descends. Konami’s reveal says she must navigate the transformed town, solve puzzles, and battle entities.
Konami presented the story as psychological horror drawing on Japanese culture and folklore, with beauty set against terror. That is the publisher’s description of the game’s premise, rather than an independently established interpretation of the complete story.
