Sinner’s Road is an explorable area in Hollow Knight: Silksong, reachable from Greymoor or Halfway Home. Its key discoveries include a hidden route to repair the area’s bench and a caged Green Prince who can be freed with a Simple Key. This guide explains how to find the area and what to look for once you arrive.
How to reach Sinner’s Road
Game8’s Sinner’s Road guide describes two approaches. The better starting point depends on where you are in the world; the guide does not establish that either route is faster or safer.

For the bench, which is easy to mistake for a dead end, see the repair route below. For the Green Prince, check whether you have a key before committing to the cage.
How to fix the Sinner’s Road bench
The bench is not repaired by simply reaching it. PC Gamer’s bench repair walkthrough describes a hidden route opened by breaking a ceiling wall in the bench room. The walkthrough reports a preparation cost of 60 rosaries. Treat that cost and route as secondary-guide instructions rather than an official in-game specification.

- Bring 60 rosaries. PC Gamer reports this preparation cost for its repair route.
- Find the inactive bench room. Do not turn back when the bench does not work; the room contains the hidden entrance.
- Break the ceiling wall. Look above the bench for a breakable section that opens the concealed route.
- Follow the pogo section. Use the newly opened passage and its pogo traversal to reach the repair route.
- Complete the return route. PC Gamer describes a longer path back through the area before the bench can be repaired.
The available walkthrough summary does not establish every platforming input, so use its full repair route for the detailed sequence if you need exact navigation.
How to free the Green Prince
Game8 says the Green Prince is behind a cage and can be released with a Simple Key. Find the cage and use a key there if you have one available. If you have already spent your key, Game8 also describes a nearby key, but its route details should be checked against the current game rather than assumed from a brief summary. Game and release context
Hollow Knight: Silksong was released on September 4, 2025, according to its Steam store page, which lists Team Cherry as developer and publisher. Team Cherry’s official site links to digital storefronts including Steam, GOG, Humble, Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox.
A Meristation report says a physical edition is scheduled for October 16, 2026, for PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S. That date is still in the future as of October 8, 2026; confirm current retailer listings and regional availability before relying on it.
