What has Sparq said about universities and NIL?
VentureBeat reported in March 2025 that Sparq aimed to target more than 700 universities and direct NIL gaming integrations from more than 100,000 male and female collegiate athletes. Those numbers were announcement-era targets, not verified participation figures for Crown U.
The current Sparq Games site says the company is an officially licensed partner of CLC/Learfield. That claim does not establish that every school in the target or any particular athlete is included in Crown U. The available sources do not provide a verified roster of participating schools or athletes.
