What 1047 Games acknowledged
In a developer post on July 19, 2025, 1047 Games said: “We’re aware that some PC players were mistakenly account sanctioned earlier. The issue has now been resolved, and you should be able to log back in as normal. Sorry for the inconvenience.” The statement applied to some PC players affected earlier that day, and described the incident as resolved. It does not explain why any particular account was sanctioned. Read the developer’s Steam post.
Players have also posted later complaints about sanction messages in the same Steam discussion. Those are individual community reports, not confirmation of a new incident, its cause, or how many players may be affected.
How long a temporary sanction may last
Splitgate’s Account Sanctions support article, updated April 29, 2026, says most temporary sanctions usually last 15 minutes or up to a day. Accounts with a history of penalties may receive longer suspensions. These are general descriptions, not a prediction of how long a particular account will be restricted. The support article says a temporary-sanction message shows the time remaining before login is allowed. See the Account Sanctions guidance.

What to do if your account is sanctioned
- Record the message. Note the exact wording and any remaining time shown. Include your platform and the approximate time the message appeared.
- Contact official support if you believe the penalty is mistaken or do not understand it. Use the SPLITGATE: Arena Reloaded Player Support hub to submit a request. The published guidance directs players with questions about a penalty to support for case review; it does not promise a particular outcome or response time.
- Use bug reporting for a reproducible technical problem. A disconnect or kick during a match is not, by itself, evidence that your account has been sanctioned. The support hub provides a separate bug-report route for technical issues.
Sanction or technical kick? What the public guidance establishes
The available official guidance describes account restrictions and where to ask about them, but does not provide a diagnostic checklist that can identify the cause of every disconnect or kick. Check whether the game displays an account-sanction message and remaining restriction time. If it does, send the details to support. If the problem is a reproducible client or connection issue, report it through the bug-report route instead. Neither the July 2025 acknowledgment nor community posts can determine what happened to an individual player.

1047 Games’ Code of Conduct says violations can lead to temporary or permanent matchmaking restrictions, account suspensions, or loss of access to communication services. It identifies cheating and exploiting as prohibited behavior and notes that penalties may change over time. The policy describes possible consequences; it does not identify the reason for any specific player’s sanction. Read the Code of Conduct.
