Super 17 is playable in DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO through the Super Limit-Breaking NEO DLC. Bandai Namco lists him among the pack’s Dragon Ball GT additions. He was not part of the 181-character launch roster announced by the publisher, and official sources reviewed do not explain why he was left out at launch.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America announced 181 playable characters for the game’s launch roster: the launch roster announcement. Super 17 was later named as a planned DLC character by Bandai Namco Europe, alongside Bardock (Super Saiyan) and King Piccolo: the DLC character announcement. That total cannot be confirmed by adding the 181 launch characters to the DLC page’s “over 30 additional fighters.” The two figures come from separate announcements at different points in time, and the DLC figure is not an exact count of the current roster. Bandai Namco Europe’s DLC page describes the pack as adding over 30 fighters; it does not establish an exact final roster total.
