Start by tending your farm, then use the weekly bazaar to sell what you produce. Between market days, care for crops and animals, gather useful finds, and process some of them at windmills. Plan around stamina and the wind; talk with Zephyr Town’s residents as you go. There is no required min-max route: the official manual says how your farm grows is up to you.
What should you do first?
- Get into a farm routine. Tend crops and animals regularly. Fertilizing fields and keeping animals happy can improve the quality of farm goods; stronger bonds with animals also lead to higher-quality byproducts, according to the official web manual.
- Gather goods for the bazaar. Crops, animal products, and foraged items can become stock for your personal stall at Zephyr Town’s weekly bazaar. Selling goods there is the central recurring activity, and the bazaar also figures in the town’s development.
- Use windmills to add value to materials. They process crops, animal byproducts, and foraged finds into artisan goods. Check the wind: stronger wind makes windmills work faster.
- Leave room in your day for energy. Farming, foraging, and fishing use stamina. Choose a manageable mix of activities rather than trying to do everything every day.
- Speak with residents. Chatting and helping with residents’ troubles builds closeness. Town relationships, festivals, and competitions are part of the game, but romance is optional.
How to make the weekly bazaar part of your routine
Use ordinary days to produce, collect, and prepare inventory, then bring suitable goods to your stall on bazaar day. You can customize and manage your stall. The official manual describes the bazaar as the place to stock a counter, sell wares, and help raise its profile; it does not prescribe a single best crop or profit-maximizing schedule.
Some goods can be sold as they are, while windmills let you turn crops, animal byproducts, and foraged finds into artisan goods. Since wind affects processing speed, it is worth checking conditions when deciding what to process and when. Wind also affects glider travel, so the same weather mechanic matters both for production and getting around.
How to care for crops and animals
Crops
Tend your fields and use fertilizer when available. The manual says fertilized fields improve the quality of farm goods, making field care useful beyond simply raising a harvest.

Animals
Feed animals appropriately, and pet and brush them to build bonds. In suitable weather, animals can graze on pasture grass; the manual says they do not need feed on a day when they graze. Adult cows and buffalo can be milked, while adult sheep and alpacas can be shorn.
For breeding, speak to Ramón’s Critters at the bazaar. The manual allows one pregnant animal per barn, so account for that limit when planning breeding.

How to manage stamina
Farming, foraging, and fishing deplete stamina. If it reaches zero, your character collapses and wakes at home the following morning. Rest and food restore stamina; sleeping advances the day, while taking a bath restores stamina and uses thirty minutes of in-game time. Among recipe categories, the manual says main dishes restore the most stamina.
In practice, treat energy as a daily budget: prioritize essential farm care, then choose the other activities that matter most that day. Food and a bath can help you continue, but letting stamina run out means losing the remainder of the day.

What else can you do around Zephyr Town?
Talk to residents and help with their troubles to build relationships. When a relationship reaches the appropriate level, you can express your feelings. A blue feather can be used to propose marriage; if the proposal is accepted, you live together and may raise a family. These social goals are optional rather than a prerequisite for farm progress.
The glider becomes available as the story progresses. Wind direction affects how it flies: a tailwind helps you glide farther, while flying into the wind makes progress difficult. Exploring can uncover hidden recipes and medals. Other optional diversions include fishing, catching bugs, seasonal festivals, crop and animal shows, horse derbies, and pet shows.

Which version should you buy?
Marvelous lists Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Steam releases dated August 27, 2025, and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S releases dated May 28, 2026. Its product page lists Standard and Premium Editions. Nintendo’s US store lists both a physical Switch game card and a digital version; the digital listing includes Cow Set DLC, described as a cow-themed glider and costume. Check your regional store for current availability, edition contents, and compatibility before buying.
For the physical Switch format specifically, Nintendo lists a game card. That is distinct from the digital Switch edition and from releases on the other platforms.
