Magic: The Gathering | Marvel’s Spider-Man released for tabletop on September 26, 2025. Wizards of the Coast’s Card Image Gallery is the official place to browse the set’s cards and visual treatments. The preview season is over; Wizards announced that the set would arrive on MTG Arena starting June 16, 2026.
Where to see all the Spider-Man MTG card spoilers
For the canonical card list, use Wizards’ Magic: The Gathering | Marvel’s Spider-Man Card Image Gallery. Wizards describes it as a collection of the cards previewed for the set. The images are digital renderings, not photographs of printed cards, so use the gallery to inspect designs rather than judge physical print quality.
The set debuted August 29, 2025. Previews ran September 1–5, and Wizards scheduled the complete gallery for September 5. Those dates have passed; the gallery remains the useful destination for browsing the full reveal.

What the crossover’s card designs do differently
The designs draw on Spider-Man’s comic-book storytelling, especially the tension between a public hero identity and a private life. In a September 1, 2025 Making Magic article, designer Mark Rosewater discusses a double-faced Peter Parker // Amazing Spider-Man card as a way to represent that duality. The set also uses a Saga treatment to present comic pages as sequential panels.
Eric Engelhard’s design article describes the team’s work on a Spider-Man-centered set at a new set size, as well as the collaboration and development process. These are the designers’ accounts of the decisions, not independent evaluations of the finished set.
Which Spider-Man Magic product should you choose?
Wizards’ August 29, 2025 collecting guide listed these U.S. MSRPs. They are historical announced prices, not a statement of today’s store or secondary-market prices. Inventory and current prices vary by seller.
| Product | Historical U.S. MSRP | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| Play Booster | $6.99 (Wizards of the Coast, 2025) | Opening cards; Play Boosters also supply cards for this set’s Draft and Sealed. |
| Collector Booster | $37.99 (Wizards of the Coast, 2025) | Collectors focused on special treatments. |
| Bundle | $69.99 (Wizards of the Coast, 2025) | A packaged option for collecting the set. |
| Gift Bundle | $89.99 (Wizards of the Coast, 2025) | A gift-oriented bundle option. |
| Scene Box | $41.99 (Wizards of the Coast, 2025) | Displaying six Borderless Scene cards designed to fit together as a story. |
Wizards also listed Prerelease Packs for the event period. Each described pack contained six Play Boosters, one traditional-foil year-stamped rare or mythic rare, a deck box, and a spindown die in one of five color variations. Prerelease events took place September 19–25, 2025, so this is event-product information rather than a current event offer.

Play Boosters: opening cards or playing Limited
Play Boosters contain cards from the SPM and MAR set codes. Wizards says cards from those codes can be used in this set’s Draft and Sealed when opened from Play Boosters. The guide also describes non-foil borderless source-material cards in Play Boosters and Collector Boosters; traditional-foil versions of those cards are exclusive to Collector Boosters.
Collector Boosters: special treatments
Collector Boosters are the product Wizards positions around special treatments. That distinction is about the product’s focus, not a guarantee that a particular card will appear in a pack.
Scene Box: six cards that form a display
The Scene Box contains six Borderless Scene cards designed to be pieced together to reveal the full story. It is the clearest choice among the listed products if the assembled artwork is the priority rather than opening boosters.

Do not assume every Spider-Man crossover card is Standard legal. Wizards’ collecting guide separates the codes and their format treatment:
Rank #3
- DO WHATEVER A SPIDER CAN—Your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man swings into Magic: The Gathering with cards featuring your favorite Spider-Man characters, villains, and thematic new game mechanics
- SUIT UP WITH THE BEST SPIDER-GEAR—Collector Boosters are the ultimate way to add unique and exclusive cards to your collection; tons of foils, special card treatments, and more await you inside every pack
- BRING ME PICTURES OF SPIDER-MAN.—Keep your Spider-Senses primed for cards featuring special alternate frames and alternate art that leaps right off the page
- COLLECTOR BOOSTER-EXCLUSIVES—Collector Boosters are the only boosters that may contain a card with an extra special type of foil treatment or Extended-Art cards with the card frame removed to put their art on full display
- SIMPLY THE BEST CARDS—Collect more hard-to-find cards with 5 cards of rarity Rare or higher in every Collector Booster
- SPM: The main set; Standard legal.
- SPE and MAR: Eternal-legal set codes for Commander, Legacy, and Vintage. Individual cards are also legal in other formats where those cards were already available.
For a specific card, check its set code and applicable format legality rather than judging by the product it came from. The guide’s Draft and Sealed statement concerns SPM and MAR cards opened from Play Boosters for this set’s Limited play.
Spider-Man cards beyond the main set
Wizards also announced a Secret Lair x Marvel’s Spider-Man Superdrop scheduled for September 22, 2025, with six drops. The announcement named cards including Fact or Fiction, Frantic Search, Sol Ring, Command Tower, Damnation, and Dark Ritual, and described limited quantities sold through MagicSecretLair.com. That launch information does not establish whether any drop is currently available.
For the main set’s product lineup, Wizards’ collecting guide lists Play Boosters, Collector Boosters, Bundles, Gift Bundles, Scene Boxes, and Prerelease Packs. Check current retailer listings for live stock and prices; the historical MSRP figures above are not current quotes.
