Historical prices: Steam’s Autumn Sale 2025 ran from September 29 through October 6, ending at 10 a.m. PT. The prices below are PC Gamer’s USD snapshots from that sale, not current offers. “Best” is an editorial selection, not an official Valve ranking.
Valve announced deals “across the entire store on games of all kinds” and separately advertised 20% off Steam Deck 256GB LCD models. Both offers ended October 6, 2025. Valve’s announcement described the sale as earlier than usual; Valve’s seasonal-event schedule listed it for September 29–October 6.

How Steam’s seasonal sale deals worked
Valve’s Steamworks documentation says seasonal sales are open to released games. It also says a discount of 20% or more automatically triggers email notifications to users who have the title on their wishlist; discounted games may also appear in Steam’s specials and recommendations. These are platform features, not a Valve ranking of the best deals. Steamworks seasonal-sale documentation.
