When was the 2024 Steam Autumn Sale?
Valve announced that the sale would run from November 27 to December 4, 2024, ending at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. The announcement described thousands of games across genres and themes as discounted, but did not give an exact game count or a single discount rate. The catalog and local prices varied, so there was no universal price or complete list in the announcement. Valve’s November 27 announcement is the official event record.
How did Steam Awards nominations work?
During the Autumn Sale, Steam users could nominate games in 11 categories for the 2024 Steam Awards. The nomination period ended with the sale; it was separate from the later public voting round.
In its Winter Sale announcement, Valve said the top five nominees in each category would be revealed ahead of the Winter Sale, with voting open through December 31, 2024, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. That deadline has passed. Valve’s Winter Sale follow-up describes the voting stage.

Steam Deck LCD offers
Valve also advertised select Steam Deck LCD units while supplies lasted: 64GB models were 15% off in the EU, while 512GB models were 25% off in the United States and Canada. These were region-specific offers from the 2024 sale, not current availability or pricing. The announcement did not state a matching offer for other regions or configurations.
Free Discovery Queue stickers
Valve said users could collect free stickers by browsing the Steam Discovery Queue during the event.

How does the 2024 sale fit the current schedule?
The 2024 November–December event is historical. Valve’s Steamworks calendar lists a separate 2026 Autumn Sale for October 1–8, 2026, and a 2026 Winter Sale for December 17, 2026–January 4, 2027.
