Netflix announced a Season 2 Watch Along promotion for Squid Game: Unleashed in January 2025: Netflix members could earn in-game rewards by completing episodes. The announcement lists Cash, Wild Tokens and an outfit, but does not say whether the rewards can still be claimed in October 2026.
How the Season 2 Watch Along worked
Netflix’s January 2, 2025 announcement described Watch Along as a feature for Netflix members playing Squid Game: Unleashed. Players could earn more rewards as they watched more episodes, with rewards tied to episode completion. Netflix said Cash is in-game currency, while a Wild Token gives a chance to spin the game’s prize wheel. The announcement does not say that a physical purchase was required.
Here is the reward schedule Netflix published:
| Viewing milestone | Announced reward |
|---|---|
| Initial reward | 15,000 Cash |
| Episode 1 | 20 Wild Tokens |
| Episode 2 | 20,000 Cash |
| Episode 3 | 25 Wild Tokens |
| Episode 4 | 25,000 Cash |
| Episode 5 | 50 Wild Tokens |
| Episode 6 | 50,000 Cash |
| Episode 7 | Binni Binge-Watcher Outfit |
These are the amounts and items in Netflix’s historical announcement, not confirmation that the promotion or its redemption flow remains active. Netflix’s January 2, 2025 announcement also described the game as reaching Netflix’s #1 “Top Free Action Game” in 57 countries and #1 “Top Free Game” in 24 countries; those are Netflix-reported rankings from that announcement, not current standings.
Can players still claim the Season 2 rewards?
That is unconfirmed. Netflix’s January 2025 announcement does not give an end date for Watch Along or state whether players can redeem the Season 2 rewards in October 2026. Treat the schedule above as what Netflix announced at the time, rather than a guarantee of current availability.

Don’t confuse the Season 2 and Season 3 promotions
Netflix published a separate game explainer in July 2025 describing rewards for watching Season 3 episodes. That later promotion is distinct from the Season 2 Watch Along track listed above. The same explainer describes Squid Game: Unleashed as a free online party-royale game for up to 32 players, available to subscribers and non-subscribers; that general access description does not change the Netflix-member eligibility stated for the Season 2 Watch Along offer.

The rewards were digital items and currency for the game, rather than merchandise or a purchase incentive. In Netflix’s January 2025 announcement, Alain Tascan, president of Games at Netflix, said: “Squid Game: Unleashed is all about playing with (or against) your friends in the iconic games from the series like Glass Bridge and Red Light, Green Light, so we’re inviting everyone into the chaos.”
