Yes. Ubisoft announced that Hondo Ohnaka would appear in Star Wars Outlaws story pack A Pirate’s Fortune, where Kay Vess encounters the veteran pirate as he seeks to settle old scores with a ruthless gang. Ubisoft’s August 5, 2024 roadmap originally scheduled the pack for spring 2025; that announcement is not confirmation of its current availability.
What is A Pirate’s Fortune?
A Pirate’s Fortune is a story pack for Star Wars Outlaws centered on Kay Vess’s encounter with Hondo Ohnaka. In Ubisoft’s August 5, 2024 announcement, the Trailblazer’s reputation precedes Kay as she runs into the veteran pirate, who wants to settle old scores with a ruthless pirate gang. Ubisoft did not share a more detailed plot in that roadmap.

The pack was one of two story packs Ubisoft announced for the game. The other, Wild Card, was described as a Kay Vess story involving a sabacc tournament and Lando Calrissian. Ubisoft’s post-launch roadmap said the story packs would be included with the Season Pass and also offered separately. Those are the purchase routes announced in 2024, not confirmation of current listings or terms.
When was the Hondo story pack announced?

Where does Star Wars Outlaws fit in the timeline?
Star Wars Outlaws is set between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, according to James Whitbrook’s contemporary Gizmodo/io9 report on the announcement. That places Kay Vess’s story in the period between those films; Ubisoft’s roadmap itself focused on the upcoming game content and did not supply additional Hondo plot details.
