Where to find the Stabilizer blueprint
Head northeast from the Orbital Lander to CRO Grey Owl, known locally as Claywood’s Research Outpost. PC Gamer’s January 8, 2026 guide also places the outpost northeast of the starting lander; the Steam community guide updated May 6, 2026 describes it as east of Lemon Souls. Neither source establishes an exact compass coordinate, so use the outpost name and landmarks rather than looking for a precise map pin. PC Gamer’s route guide and the Steam community guide provide the location details.
How to reach the chest
- Approach from the north. Loop through the hills to reach the facility’s north side, then climb the stairs to the raised area on the right, following PC Gamer’s route.
- Go to the rear tower. The blue chest is at the top of the tower at the back of the outpost.
- Cross the broken staircase. Work across the rotating staircase and platforming route, then check behind the busted machinery near the railing for the chest, as described in the Steam guide.
Clear spores and prepare for enemies
The Steam community guide warns that blue spore blobs release fumes that cause Infection and disable shields. Destroy the blobs before climbing so the route is clear of that hazard.
PC Gamer reports that enemies spawn around the outpost under normal planetary conditions. Bring a gun and ammunition if you plan to fight; running past enemies is another option. The guide also reports a brief lull after a Raptura event when the outpost is empty, but that timing is gameplay advice, not a guaranteed window.

Use the blueprint to unlock Stabilizer production
Return to the Recipe Station and submit the blueprint to unlock production. The Steam guide says blueprint submission consumes the blueprint and permanently unlocks that item for production. It describes the general submission process as requiring materials and Data Points, but does not establish a specific Data Point cost for the Stabilizer.
