There is no single universal “god roll” for Sundered Doctrine weapons: the right combination depends on whether you want PvE damage, add clear, build utility, or PvP consistency. The dungeon belongs to Destiny 2’s Heresy period, and its loot includes weapons and the Exotic Finality’s Auger. Because perk pools and reward handling can change, treat specific combinations and farming routes as provisional until you verify them in the live game or an up-to-date item database.
How to choose a Sundered Doctrine roll
Judge a roll by the job you need it to do, not by a single community “best” label. For PvE, consider whether the weapon is meant to deal sustained or burst damage, clear groups, or support a build. For PvP, weigh consistency, handling, and the perks that help you win the engagements you actually take. A perk combination is valuable when its two columns reinforce the same role.

- Keep a roll if its perks fit a build or activity you play, even if it is not a broad recommendation.
- Farm a roll when you have confirmed the weapon’s current perk pool and identified a specific role the weapon fills for you.
- Recheck before dismantling if a balance update or perk-pool change may have altered the weapon’s value.
What is established about the weapons and perks
Bungie’s January 30, 2025 Heresy weapons announcement gives a concrete perk example: Psychopomp can roll with Rolling Storm, which grants Bolt Charge after final blows. That establishes a build-utility option for that weapon, but does not make it the best choice for every activity or confirm that the full perk pool remains unchanged today. Why exact god-roll lists need a live check
The available references do not establish a complete authoritative perk pool as of October 2026, a current dungeon schedule, or verified encounter mappings for every weapon. That means a detailed weapon-by-weapon list of exact PvE and PvP rolls would risk presenting outdated combinations as current. Check each weapon’s live item page or inspect it in-game, then compare the available perks against the role you want.

Bungie documented a Finality’s Auger drop-rate scaling issue in Update 8.2.0.2 and said players completing Sundered Doctrine would receive an additional boost to its initial drop rate. The patch establishes a correction to reward handling; it is not a published drop percentage or a guarantee of a particular outcome. Bungie Update 8.2.0.2

- Find the weapon’s current perk pool in-game or in a current item database.
- Choose the activity and role first: PvE damage, add clear, utility, or PvP consistency.
- Check whether the perks in both columns work together for that role; do not keep a combination just because one perk is popular.
- Verify the current encounter source and access or focusing method before committing to a farm.
- Compare a new drop with your existing roll in the activity you intend to play before dismantling the old one.
