Jack Clarke is Sunderland’s highest-rated player in the FC 24 Career Mode squad table, with an overall rating of 75. Daniel Ballard follows at 73, while Anthony Patterson and Trai Hume are tied on 72. Because six players share the 67 rating at the cutoff, this ranking includes all six—17 players across the top 15 ranking positions.
Which Sunderland rating does this ranking use?
This list uses the overall ratings in FIFA Index’s Sunderland FC 24 Career Mode squad table. These are database-listed squad ratings, not Ultimate Team item ratings. The available table does not establish that the ratings are an EA launch-day snapshot or identify a specific EA update version.

That distinction matters: FUTWIZ’s separate Sunderland FC 24 items list covers Ultimate Team cards, which can include players who are not Sunderland Career Mode squad members. Its 92-rated Jude Bellingham item illustrates why the two rating sets should not be combined.

Why the top 15 includes 17 players
There are 11 players rated above 67. Six more are tied at 67, and all occupy the same ranking slot: 12th. Listing only four of those six to reach exactly 15 names would require an arbitrary tie-break that the ratings do not provide. Including every 67-rated player gives a fair ranking, with 17 players across 15 ranking positions.

FIFACM’s FC 24 database also lists Jack Clarke at 75 overall with Sunderland selected as the team, providing a cross-check for the top rating. The available information does not independently confirm every position in the full ordering through that second database. FIFA Index lists 30 players in its Sunderland squad table; the ranking above follows its overall-rating entries.

These figures are database ratings, not measurements of real-world performance. They describe the listed Career Mode squad ratings and should not be read as a definitive statement about which players are most useful in every mode or which Ultimate Team cards are strongest.
