Stumble Guys launched on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on May 14, 2024, with cross-progression through Scopely ID. To bring a mobile account to PlayStation, choose the Scopely ID email-account option in the game, either when prompted on first launch or later via Settings > Connect. Before linking, note that Scopely says a Stumble account linked to a PlayStation ID cannot be unlinked.
What cross-progression means in Stumble Guys
Cross-progression means using linked account progress or content across supported platforms. It is different from cross-play, which means joining the same multiplayer match with players on other platforms. Scopely announced cross-progression as part of the PlayStation release; that does not by itself guarantee that every item, purchase, event state, or other account element synchronizes identically.
In its launch-era support guidance, Scopely said PlayStation and mobile/Steam were on different game versions. It warned that version differences could affect which cosmetics and skins appeared, while naming Gems and Tokens among the virtual currency available. Treat that as guidance for the launch versions, not a verified description of how every current update behaves. See the Stumble Guys console support FAQ for the account-linking and version caveats.
How to link a mobile account to PlayStation
Check the irreversible-linking warning first
Scopely’s support FAQ says that after a Stumble account (Scopely ID) is linked to a PlayStation ID, the link cannot be removed by the player because of PlayStation limitations. The FAQ says the player must use that linked PlayStation ID or create a new PlayStation ID to link the Stumble account. Make sure you are using the PlayStation account you intend to keep before proceeding.

- Follow the in-game prompts to connect using the email-account option associated with your Scopely ID.

Cross-progression versus cross-play at launch
| Feature | What it does | What Scopely said about the PlayStation launch |
|---|---|---|
| Cross-progression | Makes account progress or content available across linked devices or platforms. | Available with the PlayStation release through Scopely ID, subject to the version-related caveats in the support FAQ. |
| Cross-play | Lets players on different platforms join the same multiplayer session. | The launch FAQ said PS4 and PS5 players could play together and with Xbox, but not mobile or other platforms until versions matched. |
Those cross-play pairings describe the launch-era compatibility guidance, not a current platform-by-platform matrix. Scopely later described cross-platform online play as part of the console experience, but its console announcement does not establish every currently supported pairing. For a present-day question about a specific platform combination, check current in-game information or official support.

Scopely announced the PS4 and PS5 launch on May 14, 2024. Its announcement described matches for up to 32 players and noted that console play uses a controller. The launch announcement also reported more than 50 million monthly players and more than 600 million downloads at that time; those are publisher-reported 2024 figures, not current audience totals.
