What is Super Mario Bros. Wonder?
Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a side-scrolling Mario adventure set in the Flower Kingdom. Its signature Wonder Flowers can alter a course in unexpected ways, including changing the scenery or transforming characters. What does the Switch 2 Edition add?
The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition includes the original adventure and adds a collection of new content under the Meetup in Bellabel Park name. Bellabel Park attractions
Bellabel Park adds attractions and multiplayer activities set apart from the main adventure. It gives players new ways to gather and play together beyond simply progressing through the original courses.

Super Flower Pot and Dual Badges
The Super Flower Pot is a new power-up, and Dual Badges add another way to customize play. Together with the new characters, courses and park activities, these additions make the Switch 2 release an expanded edition rather than just the original game on newer hardware. How multiplayer works
The original Switch game supports one-system play for one to four players. Its online Friend Rooms can host up to twelve people, with no more than four players on a course at a time. Online play requires a Nintendo Account and a Nintendo Switch Online membership. Nintendo’s original-game listing

Nintendo lists both the full Switch 2 Edition and a separate upgrade pack. The upgrade pack is not a standalone copy of the full game: it requires ownership of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Can you play it on the original Nintendo Switch?
Yes: the original Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a Nintendo Switch game. The Bellabel Park content and other additions in the Switch 2 Edition require Nintendo Switch 2; buying the upgrade pack does not make those features available on the original system.
