To unlock the six elemental shrines in Tactics Ogre: Reborn, advance the Chapter IV Warren Report chain after Barnicia Castle, clear the battles at all six forts, then trigger Mreuva’s scene at Coritanae Keep and choose “I know I will.” Bring at least one living Foreign Sister—Cerya, Cistina, Olyvia, or Sherri—in your party. After the scene, visit each fort to trigger a prayer that opens its shrine.
What to do before the shrines appear
This is a Chapter IV progression chain, not a set of entrances that appears after one battle. The exact flags are described in community and Japanese walkthroughs rather than an official English walkthrough, so localized place names may differ slightly from the labels shown in your game.
- Finish the Barnicia Castle events. Return to the Warren Report and check its Talk section for newly available topics. Community guidance recommends progressing Lindl’s recruitment quest and the “Mysterious Blast on Exeter” topic, as well as the story route that leads toward Lhazan. Complete the linked battles and recheck the Report if the next topic has not appeared.
- Read “The Ancient Temples.” A Japanese walkthrough says this Warren Report topic becomes available after clearing Barnicia Castle and returning to Phidoch.
- Have a Foreign Sister in your party. At least one of Cerya, Cistina, Olyvia, or Sherri must be alive and available for the Coritanae sequence. The community guidance says the route is blocked if all four are dead or were never recruited.
- Clear the battles at all six forts. The named forts are Gecho, Lhazan, Qadriga, Boed, Geyld, and Ndama. Some may not be marked red on the map, so inspect each location instead of relying only on its color.
- Go to Coritanae Keep. Trigger Mreuva’s scene and choose “I know I will.”
- Visit each fort again. A daughter’s prayer opens the shrine there; enter the dungeon from the fort.
The GCGX walkthrough says shrine entry is available once Forbidden Spell exploration has begun and one of the four sisters is present. If Mreuva’s scene does not trigger, revisit the Warren Report and confirm the sister and fort prerequisites before moving on.

The Japanese walkthrough maps the forts to these temples. English transliterations can vary, so use the in-game map labels if a name differs.

What the first clear and repeat visits give you
First clear
The first full run through a shrine ends in a guardian battle. The Japanese walkthrough lists the corresponding elemental Apocrypha spell and crafting books among first-clear drops. For example, its Zoshonell page identifies Ifrit as the final guardian and lists Supernova and crafting books.
After completing all six
The Japanese walkthrough reports that clearing all six shrines awards three Oracle Marks, which allow eligible characters to change to the Shaman class. It also says the shrines can then be revisited, with altered guardian drops that include tier-two Apocrypha and other rare items. A Steam Community answer independently describes the Oracle Marks and repeat dives; these are walkthrough claims rather than official documentation.

- Check the Warren Report Talk section for topics that appeared after Barnicia Castle, including “The Ancient Temples,” and finish any linked battles.
- Confirm that at least one of Cerya, Cistina, Olyvia, or Sherri is alive and in the party.
- Confirm that you have cleared the battles at all six named forts; do not rely solely on red map markers.
- Return to Coritanae Keep and check whether Mreuva’s scene is available. When prompted, choose “I know I will.”
The central sequence is supported by a Steam Community answer posted April 3, 2023, and a Japanese GCGX walkthrough last updated December 16, 2025. Square Enix’s Steam listing for Tactics Ogre: Reborn confirms the game’s product and platform, but is not a walkthrough for this quest.
