The seven gaming desktop deals in this roundup were featured during Prime Day 2025, which ended on July 12, 2025. Their urgency and prices are historical—not evidence that any offer or configuration is available now. The list is still useful as a record of the prebuilts Tom’s Guide compared, but check a retailer’s live listing before treating a model or price as current.
What these Prime Day gaming PC deals covered
Tom’s Guide’s July 2025 roundup focused on complete prebuilt gaming desktops, not graphics cards or accessories. Its seven entries ranged from systems with an RTX 4060 to PCs with an RTX 5070 Ti, and varied in processor, memory, storage, case design, and price positioning.
The figures below describe the configurations reported in that historical article. They do not establish today’s stock, prices, product revisions, or performance.
| Desktop | Configuration reported in the July 2025 roundup | Historical price or note |
|---|---|---|
| Skytech gaming desktop | 13th Gen Intel Core i5, Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060, 32GB DDR5, 1TB SSD | Described as one of the least expensive options; no price stated for this entry. |
| iBuyPower desktop | AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT, 32GB DDR5, 2TB SSD | The roundup also mentioned a Monster Hunter Wilds game promotion; no price stated for this entry. |
| Cooler Master Sneaker X | Intel Core i7-13700K, RTX 4060 Ti, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD | Noted for its unusual case; the article cautioned that its components were older relative to its premium. No price stated for this entry. |
| HP Omen 35L | Core Ultra 5, RTX 4060, 16GB RAM, 1TB storage | Tom’s Guide reported an offer at $1,099 in July 2025. The article also mentioned customization. |
| Alienware Aurora R16 | Core Ultra 7 265F, RTX 5070 Ti, 32GB DDR5, 1TB NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD | No price stated for this entry. |
| Skytech Rampage | Liquid-cooled Core i7-14700F, RTX 5070 Ti, 32GB DDR5, 1TB SSD | Tom’s Guide reported $1,999 at Newegg in July 2025. |
| Alienware Area-51 | Core Ultra 7 265, RTX 5070, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD | No price stated for this entry. |
The article also cited a Skytech Archangel with an RTX 5060 at $999 as a sub-$1,000 example. That was an additional example in the opening framing, not the same model as the Skytech RTX 5060 desktop named in the seven-entry list. Tom’s Guide reported the $999 figure in July 2025; it is not a current price.

How to evaluate a listing if you are shopping now
Use the old roundup as a comparison checklist, not a live buying guide. A product name alone is not enough to establish that a current listing matches the 2025 configuration.
- Match the full configuration: Check the processor, exact graphics card, RAM capacity and type, and storage capacity against the listing. Similar model names can refer to different builds.
- Compare the price with the precise build: A historical deal price is meaningful only for the configuration and offer reported at the time. Confirm the seller, price, and terms on the live product page.
- Judge the hardware for your needs: The roundup supplies component specifications, but no independently published benchmark results. It does not establish frame rates or prove how a system performs in a particular game or resolution.
- Separate design from performance value: The Sneaker X’s distinctive case was part of its appeal, while the article warned that its components were older relative to its premium. A striking enclosure does not by itself make a PC a better-value gaming system.
- Check the promotion separately: The roundup mentioned a Monster Hunter Wilds promotion with the iBuyPower PC, but that historical mention does not establish that the promotion remains active or applies to a current listing.
Are the seven offers still live?
The original article was published July 12, 2025, and said Prime Day 2025 ended that night. Its descriptions of deals as “still live” referred to that event, not to current availability. The historical roundup does not verify October 2026 retailer stock, prices, or whether any listing still has the same components.
