Tisseur is an optional boss in Sirène. To beat it, build around Fire or Light damage, avoid Ice, Dark, and Earth, and use the attack cues below to time jumps, dodges, and parries. Defeating Tisseur is also reported to weaken Sirène in the later encounter.
Where to find Tisseur and start the fight
Look for Tisseur in Sirène, on the route before the Axon. The Expedition 33 Wiki places it near the Crumbling Path Flag; Gamer Guides and Gamepressure describe it as just past or associated with the Sewing Atelier flag. Those landmark descriptions differ, and the game has no minimap or in-game coordinates, so use them as nearby references rather than exact directions. (Expedition 33 Wiki; Gamer Guides; Gamepressure)

Tisseur is non-hostile until you interact with it. You can leave it alone and return later; speaking to it starts combat, according to the Expedition 33 Wiki.

Prioritize Fire and Light
Tisseur is weak to Fire and Light, and resists Ice, Dark, and Earth. Gamer Guides lists Physical, Lightning, and Void as neutral. Favor Fire- or Light-based attacks instead of spending turns on resisted elements. (Expedition 33 Wiki; Gamer Guides)

Plan for a race against the curse
Gamepressure reports that Tisseur applies an unavoidable curse to the whole team. According to that walkthrough, a cursed character dies automatically after eight turns, so prioritize efficient damage rather than drawing out the encounter. Treat the turn limit as a walkthrough-reported mechanic, not official frame or combat data. (Gamepressure)
Gamepressure recommends Fire or Light weapons and Luminas that boost jump counterattacks; it also points to Maelle and Lune for fire-related skills. This is that guide’s suggested preparation, not an independently tested requirement. (Gamepressure)

Recognize Tisseur’s attacks
The following cues and sequences come from Gamepressure’s 2025 walkthrough. Use them as pattern-recognition hints: timings may depend on your execution, and these are not official frame-data specifications.
- Five-hit combo: The walkthrough describes five area blows. Dodge or parry the opening sequence, jump the next two blows, then parry the thrown nail.
- Four-strike swiping combo: Jump the first three strikes, then prepare to dodge or parry the final one.
- Weaving Glissando: Tisseur throws Glissandos; the guide says to parry after it rears back.
- Clapping: Watch for the horizontal nail cue before the parry timing.
The same walkthrough says the curse cannot be dodged. Since it makes delay costly, focus on landing damage while responding to these attack cues with timed jumps, dodges, or parries. (Gamepressure)

Should you fight Tisseur before Sirène?
Fighting Tisseur is optional, but there is a reported benefit in the later Sirène encounter. Gamer Guides says defeating Tisseur weakens Sirène, while sparing it lets it appear during that fight and give Sirène four shields. This makes the decision more than a question of whether you want an optional boss fight: taking Tisseur on first may reduce the support Sirène receives. (Gamer Guides)
