Hades II v1.0 launched worldwide on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. PDT (16:00 UTC). Supergiant Games described the unlock as occurring at that time “or your local time,” indicating one simultaneous global launch rather than separate regional releases. The date has passed; the times below are historical local conversions.
Hades II v1.0 release time by region
Supergiant announced the global launch time as 9:00 a.m. PDT on September 25, 2025. The following times convert that moment using each region’s stated UTC offset; they are not separate unlock times announced by local stores. Supergiant’s September 18, 2025 announcement gave the date, time, and “or your local time” wording.

The UTC date crossed midnight for Japan and eastern Australia, so those regions’ local calendar date was September 26 even though the global launch was September 25 in PDT.
Which platforms launched on September 25, 2025?
At v1.0’s initial launch, Hades II was available on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. Existing Steam and Epic Early Access owners received v1.0 as a free automatic update. Supergiant’s launch FAQ distinguishes that full release from Early Access, which began on May 6, 2024, on Steam and Epic.

The launch-time announcement applies to the September 2025 release on those platforms. Xbox and PlayStation were not part of that initial schedule: Supergiant later released the game on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on April 14, 2026. Its FAQ, last updated on that date, lists all six platform families as available.
Later console and physical releases
Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5
The Xbox Series X|S and PS5 versions arrived on April 14, 2026, not at the September 2025 v1.0 launch. Supergiant’s March 2026 console announcement says the Xbox Series X and PS5 versions run at 120 fps. Supergiant’s console announcement covers that later release.

Switch and Switch 2 physical game card
A physical retail edition for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 followed on November 20, 2025. Supergiant says the same standard game card works on either console; the package includes a 32-page Character Compendium booklet, a reversible cover slip, and a soundtrack download code. The physical-edition announcement lists the contents.

Cross-saves are supported within two pairs: Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and Steam and Epic Games Store. Supergiant’s FAQ says cross-saves with other versions are unavailable because of technical limitations.
