Recommended Free Tools
Start Menthol Cookie with five Raspberry toppings, prioritizing ATK and Cooldown substats. Use a Raspberry tart as the default and build his Beascuit around ATK and Cooldown; add Water DMG when it suits your team or the content. Treat this as a flexible starting setup, not a proven best build for every mode.
Recommended Menthol Cookie build
| Slot | Starting choice | How to adjust |
|---|---|---|
| Toppings | Five Searing Raspberry or Destined Raspberry toppings | Prioritize ATK and Cooldown substats. Consider DMG Resist if Menthol Cookie is not surviving long enough. |
| Tart | Raspberry tart | Pocket Gamer specifically recommends a Searing Raspberry Tart; MrGuider also lists Raspberry or Chocolate options. The Raspberry choice is the clearest shared default, while alternatives are guide-specific. |
| Beascuit | ATK and Cooldown | Consider Water DMG when elemental specialization fits the team or encounter. Guide suggestions include full ATK, full Water DMG, and mixed options; no one arrangement is established as universally best. |
These recommendations appear in the Pocket Gamer Menthol Cookie guide and the AllClash build guide. Both are secondary guides, not official or guaranteed meta guidance.
Why ATK and Cooldown are the starting priorities
Menthol Cookie is described as an Epic Bomber in the Rear line. His Menthol Censer skill deals damage over time before an explosion, and the guides describe additional effects against targets carrying Endless Flow or Stinging Fizz. Because the cited damage scales from ATK, ATK is a straightforward offensive priority. Cooldown is repeatedly recommended, but the available guides do not establish a universal breakpoint; favor useful Cooldown substats without sacrificing the stats your build needs.
Pocket Gamer reports skill values including Menthol Gas DMG of 351.1% of ATK per listed tick sequence, an additional 100.0% of ATK from Endless Flow, and Gas Explosion DMG of 548.5% of ATK with a multiplier based on Carbonate Charge hits, capped at 2,500.0% of Max ATK. It also lists a CRIT DMG effect of +6.0% per hit for 15 seconds, stacking up to five times. These are guide-reported figures, not independently verified current in-game values. The community-maintained Cookie Run Wiki entry reports a 15-second base cooldown and similar skill effects, but its displayed Menthol Gas coefficient differs from Pocket Gamer’s. Check the current in-game skill text rather than combining those conflicting coefficient descriptions.

How to tune the build to your account and content
If damage is the priority
Keep the five Raspberry toppings and favor ATK, with Cooldown as a repeated secondary recommendation. On the Beascuit, an ATK-focused setup is the general-purpose option in the cited guides.
If survival is the problem
Try DMG Resist among topping substats when Menthol Cookie is being knocked out before his skill can contribute. This is a practical adjustment, not a fixed threshold: the guides do not provide a universal defensive target.

If Water specialization fits
Water DMG on the Beascuit is an option for water-focused teams or content where that specialization is useful. It is not a universal requirement, and the cited guide options range from full Water DMG to mixed ATK, Cooldown, and Water DMG combinations.
If your Raspberry variants have different rolls
Both Searing Raspberry and Destined Raspberry are recommended. Choose the set with the more useful available substats rather than treating one variant as mandatory.

What is not established
The cited recommendations do not establish mode-specific stat thresholds, a universal Cooldown breakpoint, or one definitive endgame configuration. AllClash describes its guide as tested, but that testing is not independently reproduced here. Treat the build as a well-supported starting point and refine it against your team, equipment rolls, and the current in-game skill description.
