The Fisch Black Market is a limited-time in-game shop, but its location can change: an older Underground Music Venue guide is not reliable as a current, fixed-location instruction. Watch Fisch’s in-game announcements, then check the shop’s live catalog when it appears. If you need to unlock the Shady Bazaar, follow the Todd-and-NPC quest route below. No current official item list or prices are established, so dated inventory tables should be treated as historical examples, not a promise of what is for sale now.
Where does the Black Market spawn?
The Black Market has been associated with both the Underground Music Venue and the Shady Bazaar. The fan-maintained Fisch Wiki Black Market page records a version 1.58.0 change saying the shop can spawn randomly on different islands during weekends. The page also flags its information as outdated, so it does not establish the current island, schedule, spawn frequency, or how long a visit lasts.
A Beebom guide updated December 19, 2025 says the shop appears at the Underground Music Venue for ten minutes around a weekend update. That is older guidance and conflicts with the later version-history note; do not rely on it as a current guarantee. Check Fisch’s in-game announcements and look for the shop in the live game rather than planning around an assumed island or timer.
How do you reach the Shady Bazaar?
The Shady Bazaar has a quest route described by the fan-maintained Fisch Wiki Shady Bazaar page. The NPC locations and puzzle wording below come from that page; check the game for changes if a step does not work.

- Start with Todd. At Moosewood, enter the house next to the Merchant and speak to Todd. Choose the first response for each question.
- Find the three NPCs at night. Speak with the Fisher on the left side of Moosewood, the Diver by the pond, and the Watchman on the right side. Each provides an item and a clue.
- Return to Todd. After speaking to all three, talk to Todd again.
- Go to the lighthouse. Equip the Tarnished Lantern, Barnacled Hook, and Crow Feather Charm, then speak to Some Shady Guy.
- Answer the riddles and enter. Match the clues you received to the three questions. The page reproduces the clue text as “Light keeps honest folk safe,” “The sea gives things up eventually,” and “Trust isn’t given down there. It’s survived.” Answering correctly opens the gate to the Bazaar.
What items are in the Black Market?
There is no verified current “all items” list in the available sources. The Black Market wiki page includes possible stock and historical weekly tables covering categories such as rods, boats, bait, fish, totems, titles, and utility or cosmetic items, but it explicitly warns that its information is outdated. Beebom’s December 2025 table is also a dated snapshot, not a confirmed live catalog.
Use those tables only as historical reference. When the shop appears, its in-game catalog is the relevant source for the items and prices available to you at that time. A past listing does not confirm that an item is currently stocked, that its price is unchanged, or that it will return.

How to judge an older item or location guide
Before relying on a third-party guide, check whether it describes an observed current visit or a past rotation, when it was updated, and whether it supplies a price and quantity. Also compare its location and spawn claims with the later version 1.58.0 change note. A detailed table can still be useful as history without being a current shopping list.
Official Fisch merchandise may include redeemable DLC for virtual rewards, according to the official Fisch DLC Codes page. That page does not say the rewards unlock the Black Market or affect its stock, so merchandise is not a way to reach the shop.
