Where to find Pure Quartz
Start in the snowy mountain biome of the Astral Mountains, in the northwest of the map. The PCGamesN guide updated July 24, 2026 identifies this as the main area to search. Bring cold-resistant armor before entering the snowy area. Without cold protection, the environment can damage you. Look for dark gray rocks with shining deposits and mine them with a pickaxe. A more durable pickaxe is useful for gathering. PCGamesN’s guide
How to farm Pure Quartz
Mine deposits yourself
For a one-time haul, travel to the Astral Mountains and mine the exposed nodes. This is the direct route when you need a limited amount and do not want to establish a production base.

Build near natural deposits
If a Quartz deposit falls inside a base’s working area, Mining Pals can extract it over time. The Palworld Mining reference lists Mining suitability at level 3–4 for Quartz extraction. Use the Pure Quartz Quarry
The Pure Quartz Quarry is another production option if it is available in your game. A community-wiki search excerpt lists it at Technology level 52, with a requirement to defeat the Pal Genetic Research Unit Tower, and a construction cost that includes 100 Pure Quartz. Pure Quartz is used to make Circuit Boards. PCGamesN lists the recipe as four Pure Quartz and two Polymer per Circuit Board. It is also listed as an ingredient in Soralite Ingot, Pal Metal Ingot, and several equipment recipes; check the in-game crafting recipe for exact requirements in your version.
