No. Epic Games Store does not currently offer family sharing for purchased games. Games in your Epic Games Library stay with the account that bought them; Epic says they cannot be shared with family members or friends. Epic’s support answer is the place to check for the latest policy.
What happens to games bought on an Epic account?
A purchase is available in the Library of the account that made it. A family member signing in with a different Epic account will not get access to those purchased games through a family-sharing feature, because Epic does not currently provide one.

That means there is no Epic library-sharing setting to turn on for a child or another household member. Buying a separate copy for their account is an alternative if they need their own access, but it is not a way to share the original purchase.
Why account sharing is not a workaround
Epic says an Epic Account is meant for one player and that sharing an account is against its Terms of Service. Do not give a family member your login to let them use your Library. Separate accounts also allow players to keep their own account activity and game stats. See Epic’s guidance on multiple people sharing an Epic account.

What parents can do for a child’s account
Parental controls let a parent manage aspects of a child’s experience, but they do not transfer or unlock the parent’s purchases for the child’s separate account. Epic’s setup guidance covers controls for the Epic Games Store, Launcher, and Fortnite.
- Use the child’s Epic account and open its Parental Controls section.
- Set a six-digit PIN and choose the available preferences, such as content-rating and communication settings. Follow Epic’s parental-controls setup instructions for the current steps.
If the child needs an account and is asked to complete parental consent, a parent or guardian can review the Terms of Service, configure limitations such as chat availability, content-rating access, and connection controls, then complete adult verification. The available verification methods can vary by region. Details are in Epic’s parental-consent instructions.

Quick Recap
Best Value
- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. However, if you purchase items in the web Item Shop — or another platform where you play Fortnite — those items will be available in your Locker across all platforms.
