They were not part of Chapter 6 Season 3, which Epic named Super and gave a separate Hero Rank system. The archived objectives below explain how the old alignment tracks worked, but they should not be treated as active quests.
How Light and Dark Alignment worked
Players advanced the side they had chosen by completing its quests. The Fortnite Wiki’s 2025 quest archive records separate Light Side and Dark Side objectives, along with an individual alignment track and a community-wide track. The archive lists 20 personal stages per side and four community stages per side; these are separate kinds of progression, not one combined set of stages.

The archive lists 3,000 XP for individual side quests and 10,000 XP for each personal alignment stage. Those are historical rewards from a quest set that ended June 7, 2025, not rewards available from a current quest.

How to check quests that are available now
Epic’s general guidance is to launch a Fortnite experience, open Quests from the lobby, and play to complete an available quest. Quest sets can differ between Fortnite experiences, and this general menu guidance does not reactivate the expired alignment set. Epic says quest rewards are usually XP, level-ups, or cosmetics.

Rank #3
- An Epic Games account is required to redeem an Epic Games Store Card code
- If playing on a console platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch or Mobile) you need to link your Epic Games account to that gaming platform (one time) to redeem your gift card code
- The 16 digit code on the back of the card WILL NOT work if redeemed directly through your gaming platform (PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, etc.)
- Note: Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet, so V-Bucks purchased using your account balance will not show up on your Nintendo device. What Chapter 6 Season 3 used instead
Chapter 6 Season 3 was Super, not the Galactic Battle period associated with Light and Dark Alignment. Epic’s announcement describes Season 3’s separate progression system as Hero Rank, which increased through heroic match actions. Its examples include eliminating enemy players, surviving storm phases, taking a Sprite to a Shrine, and eliminating henchmen. These actions belong to Hero Rank, not the old Light or Dark Alignment tracks.
